Browse Forums Building A New House Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1181Dec 10, 2015 3:48 pm I think it would go really well with your bedhead, and orange is my fav colour at the moment! But the first one seems more master bedroom-y, if that makes sense?! How is everything going? Have you found time to relax and enjoy your new house yet? Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1182Dec 11, 2015 10:56 am Ooo I really like the first one, it looks more formal. Hope its all going well! Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1183Dec 11, 2015 11:03 am Decision made, we went with the green in the Master. It definitely looks more fitting then the orange, which looks really good in the Guest room. Things are going really well although I'm still exhausted. Even though we're pretty much sorted there always seems to be something else to do, and having the land and associated stuff that needs doing out there just adds to it. Just because we didn't feel we were buy enough we thought it would be a good idea to have a housewarming party on Saturday as well, so am busy prepping for that. Oh and juggling keeping MIL happy too. Roll on February! Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1184Dec 12, 2015 9:07 pm Haha Nikki - enjoy your housewarming party - I can't believe how much you've done in such a short time since keys! My choice would have been the green one too for the master FWIW. Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1185Dec 12, 2015 9:50 pm Hope the housewarming party is gong well.. You have done a great job setting it all up! Hubby keeps reminding me how much work we will have on our hands once we get keys.. I think he must think I am in denial lol Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1186Dec 13, 2015 12:09 pm Hope your house warming party went well and your head is not suffering too much today nikki!! We still havent had time to have one and its been 8 months! Hehehe!! Going back a little bit...loving the side tables- stunning! Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1187Dec 13, 2015 1:58 pm Uggh hungover - too much tequila. Fab party though and fortunately not too much clearing up to do! Was so glad I asked everyone to bring food though we were still hanging doors at 2.30 yesterday afternoon! Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1188Dec 14, 2015 3:53 am Glad to hear you had a good time nikki Although I don't envy you the hangover! Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1189Dec 14, 2015 12:10 pm Haha! That must have been a good house warming party if the tequila came out! Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1190Dec 22, 2015 7:42 am Hi nikki, have you won the lotto yet? I'm holding out for that too - hope the MIL visit is going well - have you had your last little niggles sorted? x Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1191Dec 22, 2015 10:11 am Hiya! Sorry I've been MIA things have been mental here. Not only do we have MIL here but SIL turned up as a surprise last week! We've still got the odd trade coming through (theatre room fit out today) and nope Redink never did finish the little niggles that we were asked to "trust" would get done. Yep properly mugged off once again. I still have to find the energy to to fill out their customer experience survey but frankly I can't be ar*ed. Oh and this is as far as the landscaping has got so far lol! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1192Dec 22, 2015 11:12 am Oh that is annoying they haven't been back! I thought we would be treated the same but our builder actually went the extra mile for once which was surprising! Our SS rings me most days to make sure we're happy and advise what is happening next etc. If he wasn't on our job I'm sure we would be waiting also tho. Love the landscaping you've done more than us haha Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1193Dec 22, 2015 12:37 pm That's disappointing Nikki Hopefully they get their act together in the new year. Love your lone tree Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1194Dec 22, 2015 6:18 pm Love the landscaping, nikki Disappointing to hear that there are still things outstanding Lets hope things pick up in the new year when people's minds are back at work and not occupied with the looming break. Enjoy the time with the visiting family Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1195Dec 22, 2015 11:26 pm Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1196Dec 23, 2015 9:06 am Nice!! Theatre room setup is on our to-do list. Just not sure when it will happen!! 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Enjoy the time with the visiting family Thanks all. It is frustrating and the most annoying bit is that I feel that our seemingly good relationship with our SS was just a front on their part. None of the jobs are big enough to warrant making a song and dance over but there are a few and it just annoys me that we accepted that they would be done in good faith. In reality as soon as handover was done we were dropped like a hot potato but he was still cheeky enough to ask to borrow our spare water pump, which we haven't seen since DH is threatening to start charging him rent on it! On the good side Chris has been in touch and will take it forward (as soon I get round to responding properly). I appreciate that there's a lot of pressure to get things done at this time of year so lets hope it's just that an things get sorted next year. Anyway in other news ta da da dah - We're finished! Well that is, everything that was planned and we had money for is done. We had the final sheers installed today so that, along with the theatre room yesterday, is it. We still have a number of bits of furniture to get and to decide where to put pictures etc but I think those things will evolve as we settle in, so don't worry I'm not done with the thread just yet. I also realised that after all the discussion I never actually posted any bedding pictures so here's some updates... And we are done! 1200Dec 24, 2015 12:06 pm Looking good, love that quilt with your bed frame Merry Xmas to you and your family too x Hi there, We’ve recently had plans approved to add a 1st storey addition to our existing house for a growing family in Sydney. With the current cost of building… 0 4294 It seems very clear to me that your contract states that a security account does NOT need to be established so the answer to the builder is NO. If in doubt find a contract… 1 8505 2 31344 |
