HOME SWEET HOME!! 1162Dec 05, 2015 7:49 am Nikki you've done such an incredible job - I LOVE the chaise and the armchair and you're right your curtains are so luxurious and hotelly! I'm a bit jealous of your theatre seating, and the dining table is very very stylish - wow - well done you Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. HOME SWEET HOME!! 1163Dec 05, 2015 4:22 pm Thanks for all the lovely comments everyone xx We're having a sort of day off unpacking today. I spent the morning cleaning floors as they were filthy after we were traipsing in and out the other day. This afternoon we have had to do an impromptu fridge shopping trip! We went to out our main fridge into the alcove and it's 2cm too tall We could swap it with our second fridge but that's white and won't fit in with the rest of the appliances! So we are now the proud owners of a third fridge - we will be selling one !! Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. HOME SWEET HOME!! 1164Dec 05, 2015 7:32 pm House is looking great Nikki. Love your sheers / curtains.. really swinging me towards curtains for our rooms ☺ Bummer about the fridge not fitting.... hope the old fridge wasnt too old!! Your furniture choices all fit really well.. love that bed!!! Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. HOME SWEET HOME!! 1166Dec 06, 2015 11:23 am Oh no, what a bummer your fridge didn't fit! What did you end up getting? Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. HOME SWEET HOME!! 1167Dec 06, 2015 11:50 am Yay!! You're finally in! You must be exhausted nikki. Everything looks just gorgeous...your home has the warmth that you were after. Love the floors and curtains, and your furniture choices are beautiful. Especially love your dining table, chaise and bed...love me some funky!!!! Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. HOME SWEET HOME!! 1168Dec 06, 2015 5:13 pm mellianne5 House is looking great Nikki. Your furniture choices all fit really well.. love that bed!!! Thanks Mellianne, I love the curtains in the bedroom it's so dark!! Typically the fridge is just over 2 years old so got some life in it yet. The one we're replacing is just under two years!! Bit annoying but we just didn't think about measuring the alcove!! Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. HOME SWEET HOME!! 1169Dec 06, 2015 5:14 pm Woolyfish Are they Romans in the theatre? They look amaze. Yep we've got Romans in all the bedrooms (except master), office and theatre. They just add a bit of softness without the expense of curtains. Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. HOME SWEET HOME!! 1170Dec 06, 2015 5:16 pm trixee Oh no, what a bummer your fridge didn't fit! What did you end up getting? A wee bit annoying but our own fault for not taking the fridge height into consideration. We got an LG side by side with dispenser. We would have ended getting it eventually it's just been brought forward and used up rather more of my post move furniture budget than I would have liked Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. HOME SWEET HOME!! 1171Dec 06, 2015 5:23 pm Rache Yay!! You're finally in! You must be exhausted nikki. Everything looks just gorgeous...your home has the warmth that you were after. Aww thanks Rache, compliments indeed from the H1 style queen! I already have my eye on some cool little side tables at my fave place but am going to hang fire for the Xmas sales!! It's the smaller version of this. We don't want to get too matchy matchy so figured this brings in the funky legs from the dining table and the colour of the floor. Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. HOME SWEET HOME!! 1173Dec 07, 2015 11:01 am Looking good Nikki! Love your dining chairs, and I'm really loving that duck egg colour at the moment! Might have to go on the hunt for something like that for my house 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1174Dec 10, 2015 2:53 pm The spending spree continues. We have FINALLY decided on some bedding for the Master and Guest rooms, although which way round they go is yet to be decided: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ What is confirmed though is that I think I just scored the bargain of the century. 1200 thread count sheets reduced from $400 to $160!! They are definitely for the master room! Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1175Dec 10, 2015 3:03 pm Now that IS a bargain!! What colour are they? Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1176Dec 10, 2015 3:06 pm Bit like a lot of other things in our house - Beige!! We joke that we're Mr and Mrs Beige as that's what we always use as a base colour, but it's so versatile! Officially I think the colour is called Putty! Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1177Dec 10, 2015 3:14 pm So they will go with both the quilt covers, so I cant help you with which one goes in the master bedroom!! And nothing wrong with beige! Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1178Dec 10, 2015 3:15 pm Yeah thats what I figured too. I think we're just going to have try them both and see which one we like the best. Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1179Dec 10, 2015 3:18 pm My fav is the first one, if I had to pick one Re: 1st build Redink, Lwr Chittering. Need a lottery win! 1180Dec 10, 2015 3:21 pm I think I'm with you on that. I was trying to get another colour into the house with the orange and thought it might go well with the tones in the master, but that particular one (which DH picked out of about 3 others!) might be a bit "busy" given all the other stuff we've got going on in the room with the fan and bed head. Hi there, We’ve recently had plans approved to add a 1st storey addition to our existing house for a growing family in Sydney. With the current cost of building… 0 4298 It seems very clear to me that your contract states that a security account does NOT need to be established so the answer to the builder is NO. If in doubt find a contract… 1 8510 2 31355 |
