Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 24, 2014 1:24 pm Hi All, Having alot of difficulties trying to visualize our render colour in my head! Our interior designer chose beige royal for us, which I love BUT... I feel that it will be abit to light and too much contrast with our basalt roof. She chose beige royal because she recommended white window frames and she didn't want them to stand out too much. I am worried that beige royal is just that little bit too light for a dark roof. I have found Taubmans Beige Ash which is a touch darker and I think it suits the roof better. Do you think that the white window frames will stil lblend with this touch darker beige? Any suggestions would be greatley appreciated. It is quite similar in colour depth as dune but without the purple undertones. I think it should be fine with white frames ps there are pics on pg 1 of my thread if you're interested Re: BEIGE ASH RENDER COLOUR 3Jul 24, 2014 5:30 pm We have a basalt colourbond roof and we are getting pale coloured (I forget the exact shade but some shade of white/beige) weatherboard style cladding on our facade. We like the light and dark together to show more of a contrast but it's personal taste. I personally prefer the beige royal out of the two you showed in the photo. Maybe try looking at houses or on Pinterest or something for different facades that have a dramatic/subtle contrast in colours to see what you like. Hi Alex, Thanks for the reply again. I had a chat with the builder, he said he will use primer, then hydrotec which comes with colour and sealer as well.
