I found this as I went in Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I popped into the house yesterday just for a drive by to see what was happening and the SS was there so I stoped and went in. He showed me the tiling had been completed under the rangehood and also the bath tile had been replaced, all the corking had been finished, some paint touch ups had been done, door handles installed. I cant praise the SS enough, he has been brilliant and has noticed things before we have and been quite on the ball, he replaced some of the coving that had cracked etc. He said the garage door was going on that day-monday (hubby called me today to say its on) Blinds and fly screens were being installed tue and carpets/wood laminate was going in wed-thur and the driveway edges would also be completed ready for PCI on Friday... I'm so excited and nervous, hope all goes well and we should get the keys on or before the 19th as the office closes then.... Re: Commodore Homes 1st time build- PCI BOOKED 5/12/14 so cl 75Dec 03, 2014 12:45 pm Everything looks fantastic! Pavers look great I'm hoping to get into our place this week to check everything over like you, before the potential PCI next week. Sounds like your ss is really onto it! Hope it goes well Re: Commodore Homes 1st time build- PCI BOOKED 5/12/14 so cl 76Dec 03, 2014 1:18 pm Went by today and the paving had been finished and the laminate flooring was going down but no blinds as of yet. Just as I was getting in the car I had a phone call from the carpet company who said the carpet we had ordered and payed over $5000 above the flooring allowance for so long ago was NOT in stock and wouldn't be able to be laid until late next week as earliest or we could choose an alternative.. WFT What is the point in ordering it in january if they don't place the order in time?? The excuse was that it used to be an 'in stock carpet' and recently it became an 'order only' carpet and they didn't notice it hadn't been ordered in time for installation. He was quite apologetic and asked if I wanted to wait until next week for the original choice or pick a different one (minor upgrade offered) to be laid tomorrow so I obviously want it to go in tomorrow so went to choose another one... Result... flooring going in Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ new carpet choice on the left, original on the right.
