Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 01, 2008 9:47 pm Hi Guys
Went to have a look at the have completed frame today. It had been raining in the morning and I noticed some water pooling on the slab. It was about 4 metres from the entrance and included part of the kitchen and hall. An area about 4 metres square. I estimate it was about 5mm in deepth in the middle. It was deep enough for the kids to jump up and down in the puddle to get wet. My concern is would this effect the level of laying timber flooring? Am I being to fussy?, and is this acceptable tolerence in concrete slabs? Your advice once again is much appreciated. Thanks Will we ever get there? Re: Water pooling on slab 2Jun 01, 2008 10:16 pm On the second page of post below there's a bit on pondng on slabs and tolerances an issue which Forumite Belgrave bought up...hope it helps.
