Building our first dream home in NSW Re: KDR:Coral Daydream 28:SW Sydney - cabinetry 502Jul 10, 2015 7:17 am Yeah for an unexpected visit! Bet you sleep better tonight. The back of your kitchen is identical (but reversed) to how mine should have been but then i widened those overhead cupboards and added the tiny open shelving to use the extra void beside the range. I really love how the white showcases the handles. Still second guessing my dark choices. Love the laundry combo too. Very nice. Re: KDR:Coral Daydream 28:SW Sydney - cabinetry 503Jul 10, 2015 7:29 am I'm really pleased with the laundry cabinet too. We're having night sky benches in the kitchen and bathrooms so it's good to see how nice the black looks with the cabinets Follow my Coral Daydream 28 build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=72384 Re: KDR:Coral Daydream 28:SW Sydney - cabinetry 504Jul 10, 2015 5:19 pm I dropped by quickly this afternoon not expecting anything to have changed and got a very nice surprise Loo: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Main bath: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Laundry (showing splashback): Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our teensy-tiny ensuite: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Better pic of the laundry floor - this photo shows the true colour of the tiles best: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Follow my Coral Daydream 28 build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=72384 Re: KDR:Coral Daydream 28:SW Sydney - cabinetry 505Jul 10, 2015 5:23 pm Ooh I love that colour tile melly! Such a nice texture, not a plain grey at all. They go so well with the crisp white cabinets. Re: KDR:Coral Daydream 28:SW Sydney - tiling begins 509Jul 11, 2015 8:13 pm I just posted this in the general thread so excuse my doubling up: We stopped by the house today to measure the dining area. We need to work out exactly where we want our light rail pendants. Anyway, we were amazed to see the tilers there busily working away on the bathrooms again and they're now done I am completely in love with our feature tile. I think it's the best decision we made in selections and totally pops against the white wall tile. What are your thoughts on your bricks? Our bricks were delivered on Friday - looking a bit lighter than expected. Hopefully they come out nicely, and don't look old fashioned! Re: KDR:Coral Daydream 28:SW Sydney - tiling begins 517Jul 12, 2015 3:04 pm Thanks Daydream, I'm really happy with how it's turning out. We went really light throughout the house because I was worried we wouldn't get enough natural light and ever since I've been stressing that we went TOO light. I'm really happy with how it's coming together though.
