They have plenty of option than compared to Symonds or porter davis homes. We have chosen Brown terrain bricks and laminate flooring Re: building with Dennis Family Home - Cosgrove 292 5Sep 13, 2014 5:19 pm Hi lilgeor, Its good to know we both are at almost same stage. if you don't mind me asking where about in melbourne are you building the house and what plan? We also was thinking to go with Brown terrain bricks but ended up with mocha. I have just received initial Contract today, I am doing some minor changes and going through details now... I will try to post all the details as possible and also updating my blog. My Blog: http://dennis-family-homes-cosgrove-292 ... ot.com.au/ Re: building with Dennis Family Home - Cosgrove 292 6Oct 02, 2014 10:42 am Hello all, Quick update we have signed our contract on 20th Sep and there was few minor changes which we raised by variation. The main feature we wanted was the 600mm x 600mm Porcelain tiles throughout except bedrooms and games room. It’s quite expensive. The ceramic tiles were part of their promo but we want to upgrade which is costing nearly $11000 extra. This was the main ticket item to blow our budget. But again we really wanted the porcelain tiles in our house so we are going ahead with this option. We have received 6.8 energy rating which is very reasonable I guess. Today I have submitted the contract in Bank and now waiting for valuation from bank. Hopefully, the valuation come in our favor. So far I have very positive experience with the process. For more info stay tuned…. I have purchased the latest RPData report for the suburb and all the land prices are about $20000 higher then what they have valued. I have disputed the valuation and provided them the latest RPdata report so Hopefully they consider that report and increase the valuation. Otherwise, I have to look for different bank now. by the way currently I am banking with ANZ. Does anyone else had the same Problem? Can someone please advise me ? Thanks Re: building with Dennis Family Home - Cosgrove 292 9Oct 21, 2014 12:03 pm Update guys, Second round valuation came back on the dot so very happy with that and now waiting for final approvals. we have also signed final variations now so all set. Hi everyone, Newbie renovator here, after some advice for combining our family room in the picture and the alfresco and make a larger family room. There is a flush sill… 0 4890 It seems very clear to me that your contract states that a security account does NOT need to be established so the answer to the builder is NO. If in doubt find a contract… 1 8504 2 31340 |
