Re: Dennis Family Home - Cosgrove 292 - Final inspection 54Jun 21, 2015 7:51 am Where did you go bjasani? It's winter time and hope you aren't hibernating Re: Dennis Family Home - Cosgrove 292 - Final inspection 55Jun 22, 2015 2:53 pm Sorry guys, been very busy with moving in new house and organising everything. Still no internet living in Stone Age. Handover was smooth moved in on the same day. Just finished curtains installation yesterday. Few minor issues, Heating unit was not installed configured properly so guys came very next day and fixed it. Builder forgot to put the opticomm conduit from front of the house to side, which is now fixed. Because of missing conduit opticomm failed to do installation now scheduled next Monday and builder is paying for failing installation fees. Also concretor can't do concreting as well. He will come tomorrow to finish concreting it's already prepared but still needs to box up. Plumber forgot to put the range hood canopy ducted to outside, which is now fixed. Still waiting for more furniture to come. It may take few weeks still. Here is some updated pics still lot of boxes every where to unpack. Stay tuned for more updates once I have Internet. Cheers Re: Dennis Family Home - Cosgrove 292 - Final inspection 56Jun 24, 2015 7:21 am Oo very nice!! Sounds like your builder has been quick in rectifying whatever issues you have had. Are you happy with the general quality and finish of your place? Re: Dennis Family Home - Cosgrove 292 - Final inspection 57Jun 24, 2015 12:52 pm Ya, I have to admit builder is very quick to fix the issues and I am very happy with their work. One happy customer ... Concretor came yesterday and prepare the driveway and path. I am going to use Amanda exposed from midway minimix in driveway and front. Around the house and alfresco is plain concrete. Here is some more photos from this morning. How much did it cost to do your concreting if you don't mind me asking Re: Dennis Family Home - Cosgrove 292 - Final inspection 59Jun 27, 2015 6:05 pm It cost me $7400 for driveway, steps and front path exposed and Alfresco, 1 meter all around the house in plain concrete. I think he has done very good job. Still landscaping to do. I am planning to box it around the back yard and laying Empire zoysia turf in coming weeks. Re: Dennis Family Home - Cosgrove 292 - Final inspection 60Jun 30, 2015 8:40 am Congrats bjasani, house is looking great. Hope you and your family enjoying new home. Welcome to post handover phase. It's even more exciting than actual build, isn't it Hi everyone, Newbie renovator here, after some advice for combining our family room in the picture and the alfresco and make a larger family room. There is a flush sill… 0 4890 It seems very clear to me that your contract states that a security account does NOT need to be established so the answer to the builder is NO. If in doubt find a contract… 1 8505 2 31342 |
