Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Summit build in the South West- DINING TABLE OPINIONS!!! 1682Sep 13, 2015 6:36 pm I vote number 1 as well, we have a marri natural edge table similar to number 2. The legs do take up a lot of room and you end up having to have the seats uneven to make it seat 10 - which upsets the ocd in me Re: Summit build in the South West- DINING TABLE OPINIONS!!! 1683Sep 13, 2015 9:39 pm Ha ha love the red dog pics. I love the table top but legs in the same wood looks a little busy to me because of all the features in the wood. I would go black metal. Re: Summit build in the South West- DINING TABLE OPINIONS!!! 1684Sep 14, 2015 2:00 am Rache not sure whether you've been following livpal's build? She's not in WA but recently posted about a custom table where she had the top and had steel legs made. She painted the legs matt black and it looks beautiful Here are links to her posts: viewtopic.php?p=1411010#p1411010 and viewtopic.php?p=1425368#p1425368 and viewtopic.php?p=1425705#p1425705 Re: Summit build in the South West- DINING TABLE OPINIONS!!! 1685Sep 14, 2015 10:25 am Of the natural legs I like the second one as they don't look quite as heavy. Personally I love the last one but I take your point about future proofing if you ever move away from the industrial look. Re: Summit build in the South West- DINING TABLE OPINIONS!!! 1687Sep 14, 2015 1:16 pm Aw those animals! So gorgeous. Loooove the marri tables, especially the first one! (Might be on my shortlist). The last one seems to meet your brief a bit better though? Re: Summit build in the South West- DINING TABLE OPINIONS!!! 1689Sep 15, 2015 1:13 am archetto I love the black metal leg idea! Thanks archetto. I am leaning that way. AKB I vote number 1 as well, we have a marri natural edge table similar to number 2. With you there!! MnT Ha ha love the red dog pics. I love the table top but legs in the same wood looks a little busy to me because of all the features in the wood. I would go black metal. She's my soul mate in a dog MnT!! Maybe I could go the first one but painted black. Thanks for thoughts. MalSannie Rache not sure whether you've been following livpal's build? That looks awesome! It is probably simple enough to suit any décor. Imagine that black steel base with the natural edge slab! I reckon we might have a winner! Thanks so much! nikkis2000 Of the natural legs I like the second one as they don't look quite as heavy. I have wanted one for years and just think I have been spending for so long now I may as well finish with a bang!! I have a guy in Perth happy to make me one - just have to provide him with the design. Getting closer to that thanks to all you gorgeous people! Don't know what I would do without my H1 family! Melsie68 Each love the light . And I would go for the first table . Thanks Melsie. It certainly seems to have the most votes. And with my décor I guess i could probably have either the stainless steel or the matte black. Thanks everyone! You really are the best! My accountant will be determining the speed at which I might acquire this beautiful table tomorrow! Crossing fingers for good news!
