But the reason behind 4 'categories' still escapes me. Last year I happened to visit a pony stud, breeding the "Australian pony" whose origins are also from Welsh stock plus a couple of other breeds...Lovely ponies too. I was only there briefly (for a non horsey reason) but it made me remember back when my one ambition in life was my own horse... Ikea couches: I love how the covers can be swapped as well, but I found most of them have low backs which doesn't suit me. I like high backs and get annoyed at pillows that can move, just me I guess... Re: Summit build in the South West - Garage door pics for yo 1143Jan 13, 2015 11:53 pm Marcia That pony is so cute. Can you say that about ponies?? Are they allowed to be cute? I don't know much about Ikea couches, I'm interested in what everyone has to say too as we are likely to get one for the DD activity room in the new place. I do like that if something goes bung on them you can just replace that part and that many of the covers are interchangeable. House is looking amazing Rache, only a couple more sleeps until keys, now that is exciting. Thanks Marcia! Yes of course you can call a pony cute!! I fully agree with you! Hadn't thought about the fact that you can replace bits as you want. Hmmm. Cheers for that! Re: Summit build in the South West - Garage door pics for yo 1144Jan 13, 2015 11:55 pm AKB So glad that PCI went well, your house frontage is Devine and Stewart is gorgeous!! Aawww, that's lovely of you to say AKB! I need to make aphone call about Stewart. Its in a spray bottle . I did spend a bit on my lounges maybe a stupid idea when I have 6 kids . I got that 5 year plan thing I have called them once out .now im like cant be bothered lol . I might just call them once a year to tell them I have a stain and get the whole lounge cleaned hehe . That one clean would be close to $300 . Ha ha . Where did you get your lounges from Melsie, and did they have the stain treatment done for you? Re: Summit build in the South West - Garage door pics for yo 1148Jan 14, 2015 12:03 am Oh tree's I know what you mean about moving pillows they never sit bloody right lol . And then you have to puff them up once and a while oh and then there is the rotating them. Or am I doing to much to my lounges .he he .if only I looked as good as them lol Re: Summit build in the South West - Garage door pics for yo 1149Jan 14, 2015 12:07 am I got mine from domayne . But havery norman sell very similar lounges and offer the stain treatment . And harvey norman has better customer service. Thats where we were going to buy our lounges from but then domayne had a sale . Re: Summit build in the South West - Garage door pics for yo 1150Jan 14, 2015 12:11 am Yeh they did the treatment .I think its worth it . Even if by chance your chasing your partner with a knife and you miss him and end up cutting the lounge they come and fix it but you might have to change the story and tell them the kids did it lol. My partner put super glue on the lounge could of killed him he told me not to call coz he doesn't care but I might anyhow . I think I might be a bit scared to meet you in the real world hehe Re: Summit build in the South West - Garage door pics for yo 1153Jan 14, 2015 12:10 pm Very cute horse!! We used to scotch guard our couches every couple of years - just bought the stuff from Bunnings. It was a god send especially with two dogs and a baby, meant we could easily wipe of spills. Our couches were a faux-suede. Our couches were a faux-suede. That micro suede is awesome. I had that with little ones with no scotchgard and it never stained. Used to be able to get butter and vegemite off it with a bit of Windex!!! Re: Summit build in the South West - Garage door pics for yo 1156Jan 14, 2015 4:14 pm Ha ha windex. Reminds of My Big Fat Greek Wedding Keys in 2 days!!!!! You must be sooooo excited. My mom has a non leather sofa from Ikea and it's lasted many, many years. Cover can be washed and that's super handy. She did say that the covers never quite fit the same, not as snug, as when you first get it, but overall she's quite happy with it. I'm a HUGE Ikea fan. Some of it is pretty cheap stuff, but you get what you pay for I guess. I enjoy a trip to Ikea if it's not too crazy busy. I'm weird like that I guess. But everything is so organized and it gives me such great ideas. Re: Summit build in the South West - Garage door pics for yo 1158Jan 15, 2015 9:11 am Oh wow I've missed soooo much! Rache, it all looks BEAUUUUUUTIFUL! Stop worrying about the garage door, you're pointing out flaws that only you can see! It looks lovely, and once you get some garden happening you'll not be focussing so much on the building itself plus a couple of shrubs or pots here and there will help to visually break up the facade. It will not be noticeable to even you then I bet! Congrats, bet you can't wait to finally get in there!
