I remember when we were neck and neck with our builds. Great to see your homely touches It's been a bloody long road hasn't it! You're nearly there, hang in there! MalSannie Your house is looking lovely, em! I think we're having very similar main area tiles as you. Sorry I can't help with the sliding door, but you're right it does look like it needs something! I notice your kitchen overheads don't have handles? Are the doors a bit longer? I'm wondering about our overheads at the moment haha No handles, but yep Melsie is right, they hang a bit lower so you can grip them. Melsie68 You have done so much .you got me wondering about that door im going to check mine .oh everything looks great . Mal the doors hang a little lower than the bottom shelf so you can put you fingers there to open them . ( I think thats how you explain them ) Thanks Melsie Melsie68 Em my doors have holes in them too . Boo. Yeah hubby checked with his mate who's a locksmith who said that's the way Jason's does them now. They look unfinished and b*dgy. ardie514 Looks great em. Wow! You've done a seriously fabulous job and sounds like you're settling in. I'm wishing we'd gone with handle -less cupboards Thanks ardie, we are happy with our furniture choices and lighting. The cupboards with handles will look great also don't worry! trixee Congratulations on moving in! Yeah there's something not right with that door. It looks like the lock is missing? Lock is fine but I thought a plate or something should go over the holes but apparently not belzey My door looks the same but being black it is much less noticeable Yep sounds like its normal Well we are off to bali for a week on Monday so can put house building and moving behind us for a week. Hopefully in that time, Telstra will put the line in for the interwebs (so over this dongle thing already!). Still have a dozen boxes to sort out but frankly it can wait!! Re: Our 101 Residential build - Queens Park - Handover 27/2/ 274Apr 22, 2015 12:58 pm Jeepers life has been busy!! Settled in now, house looks "lived in" (ie, messy) but all coming together. We still have to do the planter out the back and my vertical garden. Getting blinds in the laundry & ensuite (because it's open, the big window throws a heap of light in our bedroom). Still want to get some rugs eventually and some shelving up in the study nook but all small things. khaddles Hey emsimpson Do you remember what your bathroom floor tiles were called?
