Re: Metricon Hudson KDR in Ryde - Landscaping 1703Jun 15, 2016 10:17 am Quirmeball1280 Hello, we are also looking for a landscape designer in the Ryde area to help us design our outdoor area and draw up the landscape plan as part of the DA approval process. Ideally, it would be great if they can also advise on retaining walls and putting in a driveway. Any good recommendations ? Many thanks. Sheilzy So, after weeks of our file sitting idle we are now in design getting our contract variations drawn for council submission. We have also signed off on the demolition job and had our first meeting with our landscape designer to prepare the landscape plan for the DA. It's such a relief to finally see some action! Anyone on the forum building Metricon in Sydney? I'd love to hear from you Yes. Todd at Living Edge Landscaping. Sent from an iPhone please excuse the ridiculous spell correcting software. My forum thread is at viewtopic.php?t=74944 Re: Metricon Hudson KDR in Ryde - Landscaping 1706Jun 24, 2016 10:01 am Hello, I am not sure if you have finished your plans for your retaining walls, but I thought I would bring to your attention our product that may be of interest. Retaining Walls and Front Fences That Store Rain Water All these lovely pictures above are actually retaining walls that store rain water, which may seem hard to believe - well its not and lots of people are using them already with stunning results. These great Landscape Tanks are designed for use as structural retaining walls and front fences that store rain water and they can also be used for many other structures around the home. You can even have your front fence as your on site detention system if you like. They are made from high grade concrete (50mpa) and provide a fantastic alternative to traditional retaining walls or front fences and are very cost effective. The Landscape Tanks do not require any footings, are very easy to install and may be placed straight on a firm level base for great savings. They are are pre-engineered (empty) for use as retaining walls, which means they are also ideal for other structures around your home, such as front fences, on site detention systems, pool or pergola surrounds, water tanks, fire fighting water tanks, and raised garden beds. The planter top also has many other uses (apart from growing plants) including water features, outdoor kitchens, decking and even spectacular light shows all at the same time while still being used for your retaining wall or front fence. The Landscape Tanks are all high quality and designed to last over 100+ years and they add that WOW factor to your home. After the delayed start, we have had to endure further delays due in part to bad weather but mostly due to landscapers going offsite for a few days at a time! Sooo frustrating! They still have to complete a few things; * Paint front modular walls * Side gates * Irrigation * Garden lights * Screens to hide water tanks * Brick-in mailbox * Clothesline * Trellis with climbing jasmine Here are some pics..
