Below is the reply I got: "As per our recent discussion regarding the power supply queries we have received at Alex Avenue please see attached the certified electrical plan for stage 1 which notes that a 40mm PVC service conduit is supplied to each lot from the pillars in the street. The purchasers builders are responsible for the connection from the pillar in the street to the dwellings. Please advise the purchasers accordingly." So they are saying their electrical plan only had the service conduit to each lot and not the actual power line. I am not very happy as this was not clearly communicated when we bought the land. We are going through the exact same issue with Mirvac and our builder. (Also building at The Avenue). Our builder wants to charge us close to $1,000 for the connection! From where I see it the developer really should be covering this charge. As is was clearly on the developer plan. We are yet to pursue Mirvac's developer regarding this issue.
