So great you had such a speedy paperwork start to the process. Sounds like you've got some brilliant consultants in your sekisui office there. How much were the internal doors in the end? I'm keen to change ours to something similar. Re: Meridian 215 Sekisui House - Adelaide 22Jul 27, 2014 7:39 am cat_dunc Hi Akula, I'm following your thread with interest. Corinthian - Cambridge Impressions - 9 Doors - $1070 Corinthian - MODA Cavity Doors - Clear Glass - $1894 ea I've got two of the sliding cavity doors for my Living & Study - These were quite expensive due to the door height and glass infill, although i was happy to pay the price for these feature doors. The price structure for these doors is as follows. Cavity Unit (2x820mm) - $718 MODA Glass Door (2x820mm) - $588 ea Re: Meridian 215 Sekisui House - Adelaide 23Jul 27, 2014 2:04 pm Been picking my plan to pieces this morning, decided id upgrade a few other details. Increased all window heights to 2020 as apposed to 1800 (This was an extra $10 per window) Revamped my electrical plan to allow for provisional downlights throughout all major entertaining areas after handover (I've shifted the standard baton lights to where id like my downlights) Added extra data points & powerpoints throughout the house. Re: Meridian 215 Sekisui House - Adelaide 24Aug 02, 2014 8:58 am So i signed my final contract on Wednesday evening, few minor changes and one little suprise came out of it. Increasing the window size was apparently is double-edged sword, decreasing the energy rating, which in turn meant i required double glazing on my front 4 windows... Overall the contract fixed barely changed, with the only surprise the above, so i was quite happy with how the process has been. I'm now at the stage of council approval, so i think the excitement is starting to dull down, now the long wait between council and slab. Re: Meridian 215 Sekisui House - Adelaide 25Aug 02, 2014 5:29 pm These are my latest floor plans, with all my revisions. I made a slight change this morning, which i'll have to obtain new plans for although I'm not concerned. I've increased the front "Entry to Kitchen" Opening by pushing the Kitchen towards the "Meals" 200mm - This increases gives a far larger opening and a far grander look as you enter the home. Really happy with my front facade, the changes i've made were not that expensive and i feel it's far better looking than any of the facades on offer. Size of the front door is massive Re: Meridian 215 Sekisui House - Adelaide 26Aug 09, 2014 2:32 pm So a brief update on the progress. Everything has slowed down, I'm currently sorting out my home loan running around getting all sorts of quotes for the valuation. I believe my plans are with the council now, although I'm really not too sure. Communication has dropped a little between myself and my consultant which is a little disappointing, although i guess there is not much to say at this stage. Really looking forward to getting my loan cleared up & moving to build stage to see some physical progress. Re: Meridian 215 Sekisui House - Adelaide 27Dec 28, 2014 10:15 pm Hi aluka. Really love the colour scheme. Any updates on your build? Is the prestige walnut the exact colour of the picture or close as possible ? We are discussing plans with Meridian homes and it is shaping up nicely. Anyone has any experience to share?
