Re: Building the Cleo two story with Simonds SA - Lock up 523Mar 30, 2015 10:37 pm I will update over the next few days with pics! Been very busy with all things house but the front yard will be finished tomorrow. Update to come Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=71963&start=50#p1203154 Settlement: January 2014 Currently waiting council approval Re: Building the Cleo two story with Simonds SA - Lock up 525Apr 02, 2015 11:53 am So the last week has been spent doing our front yard.. Here's a few pictures and of course always lots more to do. We laid 200sqm of grass, built our own timber deck fences, build a front red wood deck and planter box. Planted a few trees & just need to plant a bunch of hedge plants we have around the paths of the front deck. Re: Building the Cleo two story with Simonds SA - Lock up 529Apr 19, 2015 12:35 pm Hi guys, Hope your builds are all coming along nicely. We haven't done much at our place as my partner went back away but next trip will be concentrating on the inside, than onto the back yard Will post photos once the inside is completed & the rest of our furniture arrives (didn't realise how much we needed) Loving our home & the quality is still top notch. Added a few real plants into the house yesterday & it makes such a difference Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Enjoy your week x Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=71963&start=50#p1203154 Settlement: January 2014 Currently waiting council approval Re: Building the Cleo two story with Simonds SA - Lock up 530Apr 19, 2015 12:45 pm Also... Who has septic? I'm finding down stairs has a septic smell and I really hope it's not something we have to deal with forever here? Seems the access point (located in our staircase wall) seems to be the strongest area. Visitors have also mentioned the smell when I'm not burning 300 candles. Interested to see if anyone else has issues. Plants make a huge impact love your blinds. We've got same so very happy to see how great they look with the wall colour. Cool pineapple and noughts and crosses. Bummer about the smell. I think Stephy or Lucinda had similar issue Re: Building the Cleo two story with Simonds SA - Lock up 532Apr 23, 2015 9:39 pm what a luxury home!, its so beautiful and your deco is nice too. Lime, yellow and a bit of copper gees those are my colours too- except just add orange too. Now that our built is almost complete I am leaning towards yellow and copper. I need to do an update and post some pics for Our Simonds Sanctuary, have not been on this forum for a while, the built is finishing in a couple of weeks to come. Can I ask you what category chose for your carpet choice, because we upgraded to CAT 3 and I love the carpet itself but when I step on it feels like it doesn't have enough cushioning under it, is it possible that the underlay is standard even if we upgraded to their Category 3 carpet?. I will have to ask the SS when we see him sometime soon. He did it himself (clever boy) Re: Building the Cleo two story with Simonds SA - Lock up 538Apr 27, 2015 8:56 am Hey guys! Firstly Thankyou for your loverly comments. It's a big work in progress but we will get there eventually. We put the carpet in after handover as my partner was big on really good carpet that was fire resistant. I didn't see the point of spending so much more on carpet but I'm so glad we did, it's SO nice to walk on. We did all the front ourselves which saved lots of money to. I was on the drop saw and he was putting it all in place. I've just hired a concreter finally to and will be getting that started very soon. I've also been shopping again.. Here's some bits and pieces I've brought & ordered to be delivered next month. 10 seater dining table which I LOVE! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And matching entertainment unit..
