Congrats. must be excited. Timeline: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76782 Re: Providence Wellard..PCI..MAY 20TH 126May 16, 2015 11:14 pm I am jealous. The entrance door lock is exactly what we want. We have double doors as well. Even the same model, I believe. What is the paint color? I should have pushed the prestart office to give us a quote. We did for some items and some of them did come up reasonable priced once you factor in the labor. Their upgrade is this trilock. http://www.gainsboroughhardware.com.au/ ... eries.aspx . Not really our taste. When we pointed out the comtemporary design, she told us it would be like ~$500 each. She hasn't gotten a quote but a wild guess. Once hubby heard that, he immediately said we would do it after handover. We also want the lever handle for internal doors. Again, what they offer wasn't exactly what we were after as well. It is a shame that they don't have upgrade items that are more popular. Timeline: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76782 Re: Providence Wellard..PCI..MAY 20TH 127May 17, 2015 12:54 am Lol.. There's quite a few people who have chosen this design..The door is Corinthian BushP104- surfmist ( going to change it later)and the entry handles are the trilock contemporary angular set, it was expensive 498 for entry and shopper entry, I'm sure it's cheaper at Bunnings.. Re: Providence Wellard..PCI..MAY 20TH 129May 20, 2015 1:00 am Bummer! You're nearly there though. Our build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77196 Re: Providence Wellard..PCI..MAY 20TH 132May 20, 2015 8:07 pm gettinby Thanks LadyZu, Just done PCI, lots of cosmetic issues, long list, no major issues, 10 days to complete, then another walk through, as we were leaving garage arrived.. Fairly happy.. Wow you are so close to getting keys Glad there are no major issues and hopefully they will fix all the cosmetic ones within the 10 days. Quick question on your crossover - did you just ask the guys doing the pavers to finish it off (for cash) or how does that all work??!! I will need to finish mine too Re: Providence Wellard..PCI..MAY 20TH 133May 20, 2015 8:19 pm Awesome news on PCI (sorry I'm a bit late, been flat out o_0) Not long until keys now WOOHOO!! My build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70655&p=1164017#p1164017 Our House is full of magical things patiently waiting for our Home to be built Re: Providence Wellard..PCI..MAY 20TH 138May 22, 2015 9:28 pm If it is ~$500 for the entrance + dummy, it is reasonable. I would have done it. Bunnings is like $200 each so if you factor in $100 locksmith, that's OK. Now, I am not sure how easy it is to refit it. The builder gives us a standard deadbolt and a round entrance door knob. Happy day. Congrats!!!! Timeline: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76782 Re: Providence Wellard..PCI..MAY 20TH 139May 22, 2015 9:44 pm Wow 200 each, I didn't even check, I just said go ahead, it was 498 for the front (double door)& shopper door, hubby says you can refit, holes standard on the inside, just the outside is different when you refit. Hope Im making sense.. Re: Providence Wellard..PCI..MAY 20TH 140May 22, 2015 9:52 pm We will see after handover. The external lock and internal door knobs won't be urgent. Need to save more $ first. It is such a shame that we couldn't get them to do it. Feel such a waste to throw away brand new locks. Same would be for our toilet suite. Timeline: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76782 Wow I hadn't realised things had gotten that pricey in just a couple of years since I built, that is crazy with how much land is now costing if you aren't lucky enough to… 3 7124 |
