I think they are affiliated with St George, so not sure whether to try them. They are offering $1250 refinance rebate! St George has knocked us back Building with Wisdom Homes 5986May 17, 2017 5:04 pm We have gone for the Sacramento which is very similar, but has a flat roof to the portico, no gable roof and 3 long windows on each floor to the right not 2. We are rending the portico because we have added a balcony over garage so it's ALOT of face brick without the render but that house you have pictured looks good. I considered painting our cladding dark but went dark garage door instead. I do like the dark cladding. Did you go for Awing windows for kitchen and why? I did. I had it in my old wisdom kitchen and loved. Great Windows to leave open especially when cooking and don't need to open your back door! It's an optional standard (so no cost!) Building Majestic 40 - wisdom homes Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 5988May 18, 2017 12:31 pm MrsLlamas2016 aaron2008 MsLlamas2016 - love the pics. We will have the carpet installed today too. 1 more week for you. I can't help but count down till pci date. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 5989May 18, 2017 12:49 pm Looking fantastic!! We went for the awning windows in the kitchen too Went by our place this morning and the bricks have been cleaned. Don't know how they'll rectify the incorrect render colour on the balcony but hopefully they won't splatter the newly washed bricks! The awning Windows don't look as good as the flush panel window but I'm definitely a practical over looks person! But will definitely do this should we be able to afford another in few years time. Msjovi, thats great news re your progress. I was wondering whether they have to re do all the renders in front so that the colours will be the same. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 5994May 18, 2017 2:56 pm aaron2008 We initially insisted on Awning but the salesperson said that the exhaust are top quality. I hope we don't regret fixed ones. Oh I always have my exhaust on I just like fresh air. They are such small windows that they are great options for being able to constantly leave open. I'm a big fan of awning Windows for that reason. Get it changed if that was your initial choice. Every stage takes longer than expected it feels like it's never going to happen! Ah well, at least we'll have a pool and a shed Building Monte Carlo 40- Wisdom homes Building Monte Carlo 40- Wisdom homes Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 5996May 18, 2017 3:55 pm MandM+4 Pool plans took 2 days to be CDC approved, which bodes well for the house, if it EVER gets developer approval and actually goes to CDC. I was starting to feel like I was just making donations to wisdom or had signed up to some sketchy subscription where money comes out but i wasn't actually getting anything . Don't know how they'll rectify the incorrect render colour on the balcony but hopefully they won't splatter the newly washed bricks! Hi msjovi, May I ask what is the official name of the grey coloured render that you chose for your facade? Reason I ask is that our facade has just been rendered with surfmist for most part (& Wallaby in a couple of spots but this looks darker than yours), and the cladding above the garage is Shale Grey, but the Shale Grey has come out to be nearly identical to the Surfmist. The samples of the Shale Grey were half way between Surfmist and Wallaby, but in reality is a pretty close match to the Surfmist. Your grey render colour is more what we were hoping for on our cladding. Once the scaffold comes down, and garage door gets installed, we'll know for sure if we needs to darken the cladding ourselves or not. Scaffold on sides and rear suppose to come down today, so will post a pic or two over the weekend. Thanks, Oz Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 5998May 18, 2017 6:00 pm ozmonkeyoy msjovi Looking fantastic!! Thanks, Oz Hi Oz, the darker grey colour on our facade is called Grey Street - it's a Taubmans colour. Are you able to have any colour for the cladding or are you restricted to colourbond colours? Look forward to seeing pics of your facade!
