I’m only asking the question incase we opt to change our vanities later on in the future. Appreciate your feedback. Pretty sure the vanities goes on before the tiling, so they are straight on the wall. I’m envious you have your shutters installed already. We can’t get measured up til after handover and then they take 6-8 weeks. Roller blinds and curtains only take about 3 though so I won’t have to hang sheets up everywhere for long lol Now the fun begins hey? My husband likes to take his time with things and I want everything done yesterday so I’m hoping we aren’t living surrounded by dirt for too long! Building Monte Carlo 40- Wisdom homes Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 10514Apr 20, 2018 11:56 pm Jordann Thank you all for the kind words, it's not exactly finished line yet haha. Been busy these last two days installing downlights and doing some digging in prep for our fence. It seems like a good idea to get 75 downlights at the time, but connecting them all up is another story. Hopefully our fences will be done this weekend. Better View has installed our plantation shutters, blinds to come next week I think. Couch has also been delivered and fridge tomorrow. MandM+4 Wow wow wow it is stunning!! Congratulations! Be sure to show us how you put your finishing touches to it. All your choices look top class. I’m impressed your upper flooring is such a close match to your stairs. I’m also impressed with how spotless everything looks, I’d be stoked with that, after hearing about what a “builder’s clean” is usually like. Trust me it wasn't spotless. We have mopped and vacuumed multiple times already, with all the dust and dirt coming in. doosra A couple of questions as I'm building the Manhattan too. Your master ensuite looks diff to the oran park display. I thought the WIR were closed doors? And there should be a wall in between the bath and shower whereas you have a shower screen. Did u choose to have it like that.? We built the Manhattan 39 Ensuite (same as Willowdale display) with a few modifications, the Master Ensuite is the same as the Willowdale display. The Willowdale display had a wall between the bath and shower, we decided to remove the wall and get frameless screens instead, to make it look more opened. One thing I didn't factor in is how dark the toilet is, because there's no window a light is always required. So keep that in mind. SejaeD Yore house looks amazing. Your under stairs storage looks really interesting, but I am really curious as to how it works as I cant quite see from the photos. Are you able to post a photo with the doors open? They are push open doors. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ ASJ1981 Oh and i love your colour choices! How awesome is that glass pillar in between your WIR and bathroom! Did you get WH to do that? So very different and practical/functional. I don't think i have seen that done before? I am thinking of putting a glass feature wall in the WIR. I have seen it in one of WH display homes in Oran Park.. They have that in the Manhattan 39 Willowdale, we thought it's pretty functional too since that's a wasted space. Yes we went through Wisdom for that and cost around $1,350.00. Here's a few snaps from today. Thanks, we went with Better View Blinds so was able to get it measured as they had access to the site and they're pretty competitive in pricing. We actually removed the door altogether in the master ensuite toilet but also have a light directly above as well so may not need a light on during the day. Based off your build thread, looks like u started around June 9 and so took about 10 months to build. Did they meet your contracted build date? We were way over our contracted date. I think at least 6 weeks. Usually after PCI they have 10 days to handover, we didnt met that either. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 10518Apr 21, 2018 8:05 am Hi team, Here's our update for the last 2 weeks. 1. Stage 03, week 8, ground floor bricks installed. 2. We had introduction from our brand new Site Supervisor, which we can talk too, he's very approachable and understandable. For the past 2 weeks I give 10 out 10 score for our building progress and to the Wisdom Homes admin. But, it does mean I will sitting pretty from then on, I will still keep pushing as I learned from the past.
