First time poster on this thread. I've been reading here and there but hard to keep up with a newborn at home It's been great and very helpful reading everyone's progress. It's been keeping me positive and excited for when my build will start.
I'm building the Monte Carlo 40 at Catherine Park Estate.
It's probably nearly a year since we requested a tender and we're just in the process of submitting plans to CDC however there's been a delay as our house is over around 1m2 gross floor area, meaning we need to cut 240mm from our leisure and outdoor leisure . They apparently miscalculated earlier which is why it has only been picked up now.
Just wanted to know if anyone also had issues with gross floor area this late in the process?
Also, what was everyone's experience with receiving updated plans back? We were notified of this error on April 27 and only received the revised plans today which also weren't correct. I understand drafting can be slow and they are still working on fixing the admin process but I assumed if the fault is on their end, surely they would prioritise it and get it back sooner or am I expecting too much?
TIA
