Is there anything you can recommend for me to triple check? Admin has been a long slog for us, starting back in Dec 2017. We swapped land back in August and since then have had 4 CSR's but hopefully we are on the move! We are building the Washington 32 with some modifications to the downstairs office/ lounge and the upstairs bathrooms and robes. Our pool was put in last week and hopefully it won't be long before we start seeing some Wisdom action on site. Thanks, Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Hi there! I do remember your posts - I think we were almost doing our selections around that time! What sort if modifications did you do to your Washington? Your pool looks fantastic and fingers crossed you get to site soon! Yes ASJ1981 I think we were about a week apart! We don't really know the process from here but hopefully we aren't too far away? How is your slab looking? So below is the original plan versus our plan; excuse the inversion of the original plan and the fact the words are backwards. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ In essence we removed the dividing wall between the lounge and home office making it one large space and adding in a small wall so the opening is large and square set. We also removed the separate W.C. upstairs and added it into the main bathroom. We added a further vanity to the en-suite bu shuffling the toilet round. Finally we re arranged the robe in Bed4, extending the master WIR. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 14283Feb 28, 2019 6:48 pm Kvav27 twolittlepeas Hi Everyone! We had our PCI yesterday. It went smoothly, practically zero issues. We are very happy with the finishes. The SS checked our house himself and already got the painter to fix all the touch ups, so we didn't even need to do that. Love our SS. Here are some photos. Looks fantastic @filbert Street Do you mean you will have a dwarf wall (i'm not sure if that's what it's called), if so, that would look amazing and really open the space up! We are building the Washington too, with extensions and additions it's just under 30 squares. I contemplated on giving my teenage daughter a WIR but decided i NEEDED the space more Look forward to seeing your progress and journey! Have you received your End Panel? From EP to site, it was approx 1 week to site scrape. Signed EP on 31/01 and land was levelled on 06/02. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 14285Mar 01, 2019 9:40 am Had a site inspection this morning. So glad it’s coming together for you! Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 14289Mar 01, 2019 10:54 am We had PCI yesterday. overall it was good. We found some issues, but the SS was gracious and confirmed he will get them resolved. The issues were 1. paint jobs, 2. unclean masonry 3. some misaligned doors to be replaced , 4. some door sealants , handles, privacy lock. 5. A couple of light provisions missing .a faulty external light. 6. None of the sockets were working, lights in entry & dining also were not working but that was due to some electrical work and ss assured everything will be up and running on handover day. 7. 2 cracks in cornice 8. 1 laminate tile looked bit off 9. slight alignment on shower screens 10. stoppers for shower screen to prevent banging on towel rails But the main thing is NBN conduit is not done. some pics i took Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ BuildingWashington 32 with W https://buildyourfirsthome.wordpress.com/ Contract: 26/11/2017 DA: 28/03/2018 Admin : 26/04/2018 Const: 11/05/2018 Slab: 16/05/2018 Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 14290Mar 01, 2019 10:56 am Kvav27 We had PCI yesterday. overall it was good. It is a full wall but only a metre or so down the wall. We are sending construction plans back today so not sure not sure how long for EP. Hahaha good on you for keeping your robe! During this time, your CSR will also send you the gap payment invoice. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 14298Mar 01, 2019 8:24 pm A week of fine weather and no action has prompted me to think about liquidated damages. Can I confirm that Day 0 is at Site scrape/excavation? We are still waiting for piering to occur and our CSR hasn't replied to let us know if there is an expected date or what it is yet. Can anyone explain to me what constitutes a wet/rain day, do you count Mon to Fri or Sat? I also don’t think they count weekends but I’m not sure. It took us 4 weeks from scrape to slab Currently week 15 since slab and have had 7 weeks including Christmas shutdown of no action. My site supervisor is fantastic but we have had no luck with trades and scheduling in some instances We are waiting on bricklayers to come back and have been told another week and a half. Is quite frustrating after waiting 3 weeks for them to start It compounds when it costs us $3100 a week to be in our rental and we have been here since last May due to admin issues and delays. Unfortunately I have to drive past my site every day including weekends for school and weekend sport for my son and it really annoys me when it just sits there. That sounds so frustrating for you! So are you subtracting the 7 weeks and calling it week 8 or will you add it to rain days at the end? I know a week really isn’t very long but all the little delays are adding up for us and I feel like we are in limbo between CSR and SS, so there is nobody really accountable.
