Just received some pics from our SS and he said they are gearing up to do the internal drainage today! Does that happen same time as wafflepods are laid? I can see from pics the wafflepods have been delivered! Just wanting to know whether we should make a trip out after work today or wait till tomorrow when the waffles are actually laid. Haha.. Hoping to have a stretch of good weather so we can get to slab! Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 14226Feb 22, 2019 1:43 pm Manhattan52 M4bath Just reposting again, we have removed our kitchen appliances by receiving a credit as we are installing after handover. Now we being quoted for the standard GPO 10amp electrical connection for the dishwasher, rangehood and cooktop including a gas point. Our tender says removal of electrical appliances and “does not include non standard connection”, we have understood this the normal 10amp connection would remain. For those who also removed their appliances, did you had to pay (again) for the electrical and gas point? When you credit back your appliances this includes the electrical provisioning and also install. I’m not sure about the gas point but I definitely had to add the provisioning of the electrical for my appliances. Thanks Manhattan52! I am not sure about sheer curtains to bedroom but if you are like us who love afternoon naps and sleep in on summer morning you need to see having sheer is practical. We don't have sheer curtains but my daughters room has sheer and block out roller blinds. She also has a open en-suite with big window. This bathroom window even though trans lam is very bright on summer mornings. We missed having roller blinds on them because we thought trans lam would be enough. My daughter is 6 so its okay for now. For rest of the house we have plantation shutters or block & sheer roller blinds. Even though block and sheer for alfresco door seems like an overkill. Just Block was enough with security screen. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 14233Feb 22, 2019 8:56 pm ASJ1981 Wafflepods were laid today! No date for slab yet... if it was going to be laid on Mon/Tues next week, our SS would have known by today right? Yes your SS will know but maybe an exact day is up in the air due to weather? It’s beenso off an on with rain and drizzle these last few days and the forecast for next week changes so much it may be hard to judge. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 14234Feb 22, 2019 9:17 pm Hi Everyone! We had our PCI yesterday. It went smoothly, practically zero issues. We are very happy with the finishes. The SS checked our house himself and already got the painter to fix all the touch ups, so we didn't even need to do that. Love our SS. Here are some photos. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 14236Feb 22, 2019 10:36 pm M4bath Stukip When you have storage under the stairs built in with door access (which I understand built in is standard?) does the DiLorenzo floor tiling quote cover this area? No it doesn’t. The area under the stairs is enclosed by default and for us we had add on cost for a door (design of ours is a stairs going straight up then a small turn at the top). I also got a quote from DLand thought that amount was not worth it to tile, will do something after hand over. By the way, which demo company did you end up with? Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 14238Feb 23, 2019 10:24 am Manhattan52 Congratulations twolittlepeas absolutely stunning! Thank you manhattan52 !! I'm so in love with the kitchen.
