Thanks .
This depends on your personal choice and the land you have. Site cost and things you want to upgrade. Mine is $200k above their base price, this is because my site cost is high.
Hi Flamingo, thanks for the reply. If the base price is $450k, the tender price may be around $650k ( including site cost and promotion)? Did they ask you to pay extra after you signed your tender and contract e.g council regulation cost, water connection, excavation cost etc?
After the tender, costs can vary for site costs, for instance hydraulics as that's not drawn up before tender. After contract if they find rocks on site that could add up too. Those are some examples. There's a good Facebook group too where others can answer these questions: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1823340 ... ?ref=share
Appreciate your help ❤️ Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 16210Oct 19, 2021 8:31 pm I am reading through from page 400. On 615 so far and noone has asked yet, so I figure I should. I know it's extra for more then 1 colour of paint internally, but what about the ceiling? For instance if I did a light grey to all walls, would the ceilings be painted the same colour, or is it safe to assume the ceilings will be standard white? That been said, I think it is worth the extra cost (not sure but I think it was $600 for each color) of painting the color scheme you desire for living areas. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 16215Oct 20, 2021 10:09 am diepiggy Hey suzK, yeah I figured that. But the skirting white isn't the same colour as ceiling white, so I wanted to check Yeah, it doesn't make sense because the skirting is always going to be a different paint to the walls even if the walls are white. We also paid an extra $750 to get the media room painted black. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 16216Oct 20, 2021 10:28 am SuzK diepiggy Hey suzK, yeah I figured that. No, we paid $600 for the light grey on walls but media room was $750 for black (incuding ceiling) Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 16219Oct 24, 2021 6:44 pm Woo! All caught up on the thread! Going for our tender presentation on November 5th. Building an Ambassador41 with a 3rd car garage. We are not in a rush, but would June/July be about right for starting construction? We are pretty organised, so don't think we will change plans after signing Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 16220Oct 24, 2021 8:03 pm Oh another question. We will be getting a wall oven and cooktop. While they are available on the Winning Electical website, they are about 30% more expensive then I can get them from Appliances Online. Will the kitchen/electrical team provision for the appliances for us to supply and install after handover? or is it not worth the hassle? I would be saving about $900 including installation if I bought seperately Can someone please offer some advice? Im DESPERATE. Because I'm completely and utterly exhausted.
