Our council requirement is to have 3000 ltr tank. Thanks for us 3000L slimline tank was part of base price, we had to upgrade to 5000L for ~1.8K Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 14977Sep 08, 2019 10:17 pm Ambassador36 Manhattan52 Ambassador36 Hi guys! How did you organise your landscaping around the build? Did you need to excavate the site after slab went down? Did anyone go with wisdom for landscaping or did you go privately and if private how was wisdom with giving you access? I am using Wisdom Landscapes. If you go privately you will need to do work either before Wisdom takes control of your site or after handover. You won’t have access during Yes you are correct, Wisdom confirmed no site access before or during build. We have decided to still do after handover as I have a few local landscaper prelim quotes for much more wallet friendly costs. We are only after very standard levelling and turf at this point due to budget constraints Before wisdom fences the site. Do any earth work or excavation even if minimal leveling, as it’s easier before if you don’t have a lot off access up the sides. We got to know the height difference only in construction plan door schedule. If we increase it now, will it be a variation and need DA approval? Is that a structural change? Hi Champs, Yes, we had to increase all our door and window heights before tender, but there is no harm in checking though! Reach out to CSR and check what the requirements are. They don't let you know these things though, we only thought of it when our friend had overlooked this when increasing the ceiling height, we had to learn from their mistake unfortunately. Good luck! For the leisure door, apart from checking the height, we also checked how that height compares with the window in that area (dinning, rumpus, etc). we wanted the top of that door to be at a similar level with the top of the other windows in the same space so it looks more uniform. just more points for you to consider Can someone please offer some advice?
