At our appointment we added some in the bulk heads in the kitchen/ living. Now the Aircon representative suggest we go for the Grill Strip as the Liner Grill causes condensation and is noisy! Weird wasn’t mentioned in our meeting but now at the last min. Any advice? MIM11 our package includes Linear Grills. Is this a further upgrade to go with the Grill strip? They weren’t mentioned to us at all, what stage of the process did the rep tell you to change @becks81what package was that? Must be new?? Because it’s not park of our package the liner or strip grill are an upgrade. I think they are both the same price. It was after our colours appointment with him and we signed off. My husband asked him a question about the strength of the vent. Than he threw that curve ball and said we recomend you use the strip grill due to condensation and noise. I don’t understand why he didn’t mention this in the meeting, why now! My husband gone back to him for more info and it’s been over a week and he hasn’t replied to his email. They are very slow at responding you have to chase them. We don’t understand why, as they use them in display homes. I don’t want to change them however his put the fear in us now. Once get more info I will let you know. MIM11 apologies, not in our package, just in our tender. I've emailed Danny too, I'll let you know if I hear back.[/quote]I had my meeting with Danny during the week. I was advised that everyone (including us) who ordered the Bar Strip 2.4m is being converted to 2x Grill strip 1.2m due to condensation issues.(unseen in display homes) Better outcome but I'm not sure if the 2.4m bar strip is equivalent to 2x 1.2m Grill Strips? We ended up spliting them. Not confident that it will achieve the same/similar visual effect. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12776Oct 01, 2018 3:35 pm MIM11 Hi, We struggled whether to go signature or prestige. Our sales person went through and did a rough estimate prestige Vs signature. However she did really underestimate our PA and now as the quotes are coming back from colours we are in trouble. Going signatirenis good for the high ceilings and full tile bathrooms but the rest is fact bowls and taps. When you get to colours everything is extra. We building Majestic 40 If these prices help. It's more materials, more labour. Yet builders charge extra for a cleaner (and less work look) Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12777Oct 01, 2018 9:01 pm I feel the same. I feel like if it’s popular or on fashion trend they charge more! I want a white colour wardrobe slidder, however wisdoms only offer an aqua white. If I want the white white is more. Why when if I ring any other wardrobe installer it’s just a colour. To lay lather tiles it cost $7000! Why it should be less tiles to lay right lol. My favorite is the one colour for walls, doors and arcs. Doors use a different paint from wall paint so why charge more because I want different colour. You need get different paint anyway and it’s just adding a tint? Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12778Oct 01, 2018 9:08 pm Manhattan52 @GLO I will be so annoyed if that’s the case. I have had 3 houses with linear grills and have never had a condensation issue. The grill strips looks so awful So they will he placed next to each other? I don’t like the sound of thaT!! Google is not helping. What do they look like Manhattan52? However we wanted more of an explanation as to why. We also have the 2.4 liner bar grill. I do not want 2. 1.2 side by side. I wish someone in Aircon will just help us sort this out. We just want wrap things up and move forward. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12780Oct 01, 2018 9:14 pm becks81 Manhattan52 @GLO I will be so annoyed if that’s the case.
