I heard nobullblinds are cheaper, good and they do quick installation too.

The included tile is probably worth $10 per sqm. It's very basic range and so $35 allowance covers the tile+labour of the included range stevezau doosra We had signature and upgraded all our bathroom tiles and it cost us about 14k extra. The $35 is tile allowance and with the included range, that includes labour. Upgrade the tile and the $35 comes off the per sqm price of tile+labour This is what i thought but others are saying it's just the tile. So at 35/sqm per wall. Take a wall that is 4m long and 2.5m high - 10sqm. So that's a saving of $350 per wall. So $700 per bathroom. But others are saying it's $1000 per wall. Hence why i'm confused. Maybe Signature is good if you choose a included tile but if upgrade maybe Signature vs Prestige does not have much difference except for 700/bathroom roughly. So am confused.. It’s just a tile allowance so the $35 comes off the lot. It’s specifically quoted as off the tile. I’m tied up right now with witching hour but I can check our quote to see if we have a comparable tile. It’s hard to compare as there are different labour costs for tile size and/or shape, mosaic etc. In addition, there’s the grout colour and thickness, I found out quote busy and difficult to understand. I also did not realise I had to specify tiling from bench to upper cabinet, aka splash back in laundry, standard was just one row. Hmm ok, now i'm still confused if Signature is worth it or not. Getting different answers lol We are def upgrading the tile to a larger tile so we will have extra labour and tile costs which is what makes me think Signature maybe not worth it. It's hard because i don't know how they calculate the credits
The $35 def doesn’t include labour, think about it, do you think DL would charge $35 for the tile AND laying?! Lol Additional laying costs (for larger tiles or mosaic etc) are quoted in lieu of standard so you don’t see a credit for laying charges as such
It does. Just the included range is worth nothing. U choose their included range and there's no labour charge Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12755Sep 30, 2018 9:37 pm stevezau MandM+4 The $35 def doesn’t include labour, think about it, do you think DL would charge $35 for the tile AND laying?! Lol Additional laying costs (for larger tiles or mosaic etc) are quoted in lieu of standard so you don’t see a credit for laying charges as such I specially asked DL twice. They said it does include the tile and labour. It is confusing. If you choose “builders’ range”, you pay nothing. If you upgrade the tile, you may just pay a difference for the tile or both tile and an additional labour cost. Here is an example for our ensuite. The middle column is the cost per m2 above the $35. Just the included range is worth nothing. U choose their included range and there's no labour charge
No, if you select a tile from the standard range for a non-included area, you get charged the $25 per sqm for the tile and additional to lay, so our Alfresco for example was ~$2500 to tile. They don’t lay for free in the included areas it’s just already factored in the House price/package price Building Monte Carlo 40- Wisdom homes Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12757Sep 30, 2018 10:01 pm On the subject of tiling, can anyone tell me the area of tiling the splashback in the laundry between the benchtop to the underside of the overhead cabinets? The benchtop is about 2.3m. We just signed the quote which says 2sqm has been factored in, but DL just changed consultant, I am not sure if the previous consultant had passed on the info that we wanted extra splashback included. My calculation was 1.74 sqm, but don’t DL charge more for wastage allowance? 15 or 20% which would exceed 2sqm... Can someone please offer some advice? Im DESPERATE.
