I heard nobullblinds are cheaper, good and they do quick installation too.

Most of our quotes for CQ are coming back high due to our expensive tastes We are not considering going from Prestige to Signature as it might provide better value.(25k upgrade). I've build a quick excel to understand if it is actually better value or not, the one item i'm stuck on is the full hight tiling to the bathrooms. I've msgs Di Lorenzo but there are not much help so far. My last message to them is below. Does anyone know how it works? To be it's not much of a saving with the 2 included walls @ $35/sqm. Esp when the tile we want is $50/sqm + labour? ================== Are you able to help me understand how it works if we have Signature vs Prestige and what Di Lorenzo will charge us. Let's say we only want the DLT85546 tile to keep it simple and if we take a normal size bathroom such as 4m by 4m and 2.5m high ceilings. So each wall is 10sqm If we were on Signature that means we have a $35/sqm allowance for the tile and labour for all walls, is that correct? So if we have Signature we have the two extra walls included which means we save 10sqm * $35/sqm = $350 per wall (based on the bathroom size above). Is that right or am i missing something here? I'm asking as if the above is true then upgrading to Signature probably won't make sense for us as it's not a huge saving per wall. Are you able to help me understands this? The $35 sqm is just the cost of the tile, the signature package would also include the cost of the laying if it’s a standard sized tile. Can’t help you with what that’s worth though. Full height tiling very roughly speaking is worth about $1000 per wall with standard sized tiles. Thanks MandM+4 and Manhattan52. With that in mind then it's probably worth the upgrade / 25k. I was under the impression the Signature was just all the individual items added up without a discount/package. But based on my calculations you to get better value, about 3k better value. So in our case (assuming we save 1k per wall in the bathroom).. with everything we want it comes to about 24.5k. Pay the extra $500 and we will get added value to the tune of about 3k. The thing is, when i was talking with Di Lorenzo they told me the $35/sqm for for the tile and labour. So am confused..The two tiles we want are
So we will pay the extra $50 and 130/sqm for the tile and the labour costs regardless what package we are on. BUT if on Signature the labour and tile for the extra 2 walls should be cheaper, right? Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12744Sep 30, 2018 9:27 pm stevezau Also, when i asked Di Lorenzo, they told me the $35/sqm for for the tile and labour. So am confused.. Hi Steve, We are in luxury package. Building Majestic 35. Groundfloor we have added shower in powder room. Did tiling upto ceiling for all the three bathrooms and sitting height in the main bathroom toilet. It costed us 7200$ which includes the living and the media room to install tiles. They charged 25$ for tiles and 48$ for labour. Hope it helps. So basically it is double the money of the tile cost as they say if the size of the tiles gets bigger and laying cost too. They have added some cost for the underlay too. So am confused.. It’s just a tile allowance so the $35 comes off the lot. It’s specifically quoted as off the tile. I’m tied up right now with witching hour but I can check our quote to see if we have a comparable tile. It’s hard to compare as there are different labour costs for tile size and/or shape, mosaic etc. In addition, there’s the grout colour and thickness, I found out quote busy and difficult to understand. I also did not realise I had to specify tiling from bench to upper cabinet, aka splash back in laundry, standard was just one row. Upgrade the tile and the $35 comes off the per sqm price of tile+labour This is what i thought but others are saying it's just the tile. So at 35/sqm per wall. Take a wall that is 4m long and 2.5m high - 10sqm. So that's a saving of $350 per wall. So $700 per bathroom. But others are saying it's $1000 per wall. Hence why i'm confused. Maybe Signature is good if you choose a included tile but if upgrade maybe Signature vs Prestige does not have much difference except for 700/bathroom roughly. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12753Sep 30, 2018 10:11 pm Well if u choose an upgraded tile then it's most likely $35 or more so the allowance eats at the tile and u pay labour. The included tile is probably worth $10 per sqm. It's very basic range and so $35 allowance covers the tile+labour of the included range stevezau doosra We had signature and upgraded all our bathroom tiles and it cost us about 14k extra. They said it does include the tile and labour. It is confusing. If you choose “builders’ range”, you pay nothing. If you upgrade the tile, you may just pay a difference for the tile or both tile and an additional labour cost. Here is an example for our ensuite. The middle column is the cost per m2 above the $35. Just the included range is worth nothing. They don’t lay for free in the included areas it’s just already factored in the House price/package price Building Monte Carlo 40- Wisdom homes Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12757Sep 30, 2018 11:01 pm On the subject of tiling, can anyone tell me the area of tiling the splashback in the laundry between the benchtop to the underside of the overhead cabinets?
