Hi Aaron2008, I got the upper floor completed, including Cladding, and bricks cleaned, with most scaffolding off. Lower roof: Fascia and gutter completed, and Garage roof. Expecting all roofing to be completed by end of next week, and then AC ducting and electrical starting week after. Can;t wait for W to move in for internals. The quality looks good so far, and I am happy with the external colors (brick, fascia, gutter, cladding). Met the landscaper onsite today, and requested for a driveway quote - fingers crossed. How are you going, and the quality issue you were facing? Nice progress singalg and Aaron2008 . Our lower roof and eaves are still to go. With the change in Ss not much progress in last week as well. We need to play catch up. We are in week 16. spk_homebuild, our timelines look like very similar...Reading through this forum, I can see how it all depends on the SS! Though my SS is great to talk to, but my experience with him is quite funny (not quite). I must say that he is very regular in every Friday call. During these calls, quite often, I have 'usually' found that l get told 4-5 things that will be completed next week, When I reconfirm each of those 4-5 things, I then hear that 'actually 4th-5th item, if not next week, it will be within Monday/Tuesday the week after'. And actually what happens is that 4th-5th item takes the whole of next week too. Met him onsite last Thursday morning, and I was confirmed me that they will be here very shortly to install the garage roof. I drove past on Saturday, and nothing had moved !! So I am not sure if that's how the tradies are, or is it that he does not have control over tradies or what the story is!! As this happened a few times now, I am watching and taking notes of every call now. And then, I did mention its ok if there is a little bit of delay, as long as quality is not being compromised, and then I noticed and took these pictures. I am hoping these will be attended to sooner rather later: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ . Things seem to be half done and not in order . For eg he has booked in for electrical rough ins even before finishing off with brick cleaning and eaves . Only upper roof has been done. Looking at the order in some of the posts and blogs that I have read ours seems to be all over the place . Hopefully they don miss out things. That clarifies it. Is it noted in Electrical Plan as DHL? If so, ours is showing in garage. Wish it was clearer to me back when we did appointment. I think we just went along with suggestions due to lack of knowledge - clearly I know very little when it comes to these things and hubby didnt question it! Do you recall the associated cost of running the additionally network cabling? Also did you have an antenna cable run to under the stairs also? Reticulated System (poison recharge every 3 years) Granit Guard (set and forget) HomeGuard (under slab protection) Termimesh (weep hole physical protection) I’m building in Bardia and apparently the local Flick pest control advised that there are no known termite reports in the area.
