This is standard. We went into wardrobe showrooms before signing contract to look at upgrade pricing and they warned us to delete all fittings if we wanted double hanging as the height would be wrong.

Apparently this is wisdom home standard when I checked with Stylish wardrobe who is doing the install. This is very strange as the industry standard is at 1.95 m so that we can have the top rod and bottom clothing rod. Has anyone had this issue before?? This is standard. We went into wardrobe showrooms before signing contract to look at upgrade pricing and they warned us to delete all fittings if we wanted double hanging as the height would be wrong. Ricochet-does that mean you went external? Yes we got credits for removing all wardrobe shelving and did it after handover. That way we got exactly what we wanted and it was cheaper.
Hi, What is the value of the credit? And isn't it the kitchen guys that don't all the cabinetry? Don't you simply ask for the 1.95m top shelf instead of 1.8m?
I’ll see if I can dig out my tender with the credit price. Although it wasn’t much from memory. No kitchen guys dont do shelving. Cupboard fitouts and shelving including the pantry shelving are done by a different company. We didn’t ask about changing height of the shelves as we wanted to do a complete design and fitout ourselves with shelving, drawers, shoe holders etc... so was always going to be cheaper afterwards (and easy) I’m sure they can do it if requested. Just keep in mind the need to raise any cupboard door heights (that aren’t walkins) to ensure access to top shelves. We forgot with one wardrobe but our installer designed a narrower top shelf so we could still get things up there. majestic35.weebly.com Can someone please offer some advice? Im DESPERATE.
