It’s very short notice for us to try and get time off work. When do you get your keys? I think you might just get in before us. haha Our 10 days after PCI to complete the fix up work is over, but we're still not in. We have a sliding door with a bent frame from way back which they havent replaced yet. We then have the skirting with different colours and still is, after painter came back to fix. Incomplete work, house is still a mess and issues here and there. Also we cannot get our interim occupancy certificate because our retaining wall is non compliant, WL trying to sort it out so not sure how long that will take. What a nightmare. For maple and glass balusters, they are quoting just under 8k. This seems extremely high to me. We are only building The Washington. Is this normal? Lol... someone here said they only paid about $3900 for theirs. What does the standard stairs look like?! I didn't even ask about the standard Our staircase is $8875. Maple with glass and clear stain. I know its frustrating, but it will be better in the long run. it will take you longer to get sorted through maintenance if you do, and the maintenance crew won't be happy that they are sorting it rather than your SS/construction manager. And I don't think they should've tiled where the weep holes are. Is that on your alfresco? Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 10191Apr 04, 2018 5:59 pm Jenifermarie ASJ1981 Woah. For your tender, I think that's a fair price for me. navylion Building a Wisdom Homes Manhattan 35 in Sydney North West MyBuildTimeLine: http://navylion.wixsite.com/mybuildtimeline Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 10194Apr 04, 2018 7:16 pm doosra My floating staircase quote came to 23k Mine was $15k, with closed risers (MDF) as is being carpeted. Lol.. did you guys have lots of back and forth with your quotes? I feel bad even though I know it's their job. I think my consultant mentioned that a stairs requote may incur a fee by the stairs company. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 10198Apr 04, 2018 7:25 pm I was pretty happy with mine to be honest. They did come back a week later however and said they made an error and it was $2000 more because they forgot the matching glass in my void area Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 10199Apr 04, 2018 7:41 pm Jenifermarie Ugh I’m so sorry to hear this Jordann.
