I just checked their FAQ on website and it looks like i can change it prior to accepting Quote - as long as i don't sign the Acceptance Quote yet. I saw a pic of the tiles i like for the feature wall on their Insta account. Wonder if i can email her a pic... No matter how much prepared you think you are prior to an appointment, you can still change your mind! I'm pretty confident with the rest of the tile selections, it was just that one feature tile i wasn't crazy about! Agreed. From memory you’re allowed one set of changes after your appointment (which we exercised too) so you should be fine. Will make sure not to sign and accept the Quote until we make one more trip to DL and choose a feature wall tile. We have a monochrome palette and i just think the feature wall which will be the wall behind the vanity needs a pop of colour! Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 9758Mar 12, 2018 2:10 pm ajayshekar Hello All, Suggestion please We didnt realise how bad the colour combination is when we picked the garage door and stacked stone for the pillars. We are very disappointed with this. We wanted wooden look garage door in a roller door. So the colour options were few. We wanted a dark brown, but the colour consultant pushed for light brown.. We are not happy how it turned out. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Can we paint the garage door? A dark brown might make it better. Or should we repaint the cladding? Thanks in advance. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Building Ambassador 36 - Wisdom Homes Have you enquired to how much it would cost just to replace the door after handover? Given you only need the door itself, hopefully it won't be too expensive to do. You can always try painting it but not sure how well that will turn out. Also, is that the standard garage door? We didn't upgrade our garage door but hopefully it's the one with 4 equal panels rather as I prefer that. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 9759Mar 12, 2018 3:36 pm Hi guys, i'm on a roll today with my questions! I realised at our Colours appointment that even though i requested for 2 alternative quotes on some of the items, i didn't actually ask for quotes on the much less expensive options (because in my head, i know what i want and didn't consider the more inexpensive option ) For example, all the doors downstairs i asked for LIN1 stained doors as my 1st option (total of about 7 doors - media room has 2 x CSD). The 2nd option was for HLR210 in painted finish. With 7 doors it all adds up! The HLR210 is not too far behind in costs either. Now i'm wondering, can i still change this so long as i don't sign the Quote yet? I think i will still want the media room to have the LIN1s or HLR210s, i just may need to upgrade the other 6 doors to a HLR230 or HLR240 - which is considerably much less! I don't want to spend too much on doors that i can change later as i really really want to upgrade the stair balustrades to the glass panels. I'm thinking out loud here but my house is not huge in sqm so having stained LIN1 doors to the ground floor may make my hallway look more narrower as it "pops". If i had the painted finish, i intend on using the same colour to the doors as my walls to create the illusion of space. What do you guys think? Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 9760Mar 12, 2018 3:41 pm ASJ1981 agree on your thoughts, if its a small space always do the doors same colour as your walls so they disappear, same with your linens etc. you can change, just don't sign the qoute or variation and ask for a new one. You may have to wait a few weeks though for the new variation Can someone please offer some advice? Im DESPERATE. Because I'm completely and utterly exhausted.
