Sales estimate we signed off was for 34 weeks. Is this normal? Are they just trying to be conservative? An extra 10 weeks of rent is a hell of a lot of upgrades... Worth questioning, as ours is 30 weeks (not including Christmas/NY shutdown) for Manhattan 52. Love your colour selections We decided to go with the laminate as well and do not like the scotia and trim, i hope they can come out after - am happy to part with $750 if need be. Do you think they'll still do it? Just wondering if anyone has or knows where i can find a list of Ceasasrstone grades? The ones i have found online - is that a general list or does Wisdom have a different list, if that makes sense? Also, when it came to Timpelle, did you find that they were flexible with your cabinetry design? I have a design or two for how i want my vanities to look. I'm a little particular about this and hope they flat out don't say "no". It's nothing extravagant. Just wanted something different from the standard... Hi the site area manager of wisdom homes mentioned to me that they are reviewing construction period for large houses to be 48 weeks as he said the standard 30 weeks contract just wouldnt me possible to build within that time frame. I am building manhattan 35 square up to gyprock stage and with this size i can see they can achieve 30 week build period. Hope this helps. Our bricks finished mid last week and this is week 9 for us. I’ve seen them take that long on here, and even longer with some knock down rebuilds. Our contract is for 30 weeks and we’re on our 24th week from slab (26 if you count Xmas shut down) and I’m guessing we’re a couple of months away from completion. The contract time is from slab to practical completion, and most double storeys seem to take 36 weeks from excavation to handover. Also they can claim 3 days of delays for every rain day so will use that if they go over. Thanks Not sure about the return trip, it took some negotiating for us to get Timpelle to do it. We also had to pay to get the kickboards modified and I’ve noticed they didn’t do it for the butlers pantry ☹️ May be more hassle than it’s worth. If you go to the caesarstone website there’s a brochure you can download and it has the categories on it. Timpelle are pretty flexible with the cabinetry design I think, just costly! They said it is usually 3 months from now to completion which will bring us to about week 30 as per the contract.
