Not a lot of surprises as we knew what to expect in regards to the costs - thanks to this thread and my many many questions that was always answered!
We did have one good surprise though.... The Live Boldy Promotion as far as i knew, did not include "timber look flooring". I knew this was part of the previous Wisechoice Promotion but it definitely was not on the Live Boldly Promotion brochure! Anyway, it's in the Tender now! Which means, we now have the option of laminated timber flooring which i did not expect! What is the laminated timber flooring supplied by DiLorenzo like? Originally i wasn't keen on it because of the issue of water/drinks spills etc, but i wonder if the quality is any / really good? We had laminated timber flooring in the house we just sold and after 7 years, it started "bubbling". What's everyone's experience on this - for those who opted for the timber laminate to downstairs? This could be a game changer for us, because originally we were going to go with 600x600 rectified porcelain tiles and fork out the extra $$$. But if the laminated timber flooring by DiLorenzo is good quality, we may consider it and use the money saved somewhere else? Does anyone have pics?
TIA!!
We also went for laminate flooring and selected Tawny oak. Overall it seems better to go with Laminate because what Delorenzo charges for upgrade can be used later to get Tiles of your own choice at a later stage when you want to get rid of laminate.
