For some stupid reason, they are are saying that the window in our bedroom 3 & 4 is too wide and we'll need to reduce it to go through CDC. Apparently neighbours privacy or something?

So instead of a 2400mm wide window, we'll have to down size it to 1800mm wide.
Not a big loss but I just don't see how reducing the width will make it any better? Weird policies.
We had the same thing! For us, they are basically raising the window higher from the floor level so that you can't look down into someone's property too easily. If you are tall enough, you still can but it makes it a bit harder. Seeing eye level out at the first floor level is still the same.
Because they raise the window higher from the floor level, the height of the window frame reduces so basically you get a slimline window. Something like the window on the ground floor for you.
At least you were lucky they told you during CDC stage. Wisdom didn't tell me and I brought it up to them after receiving the CDC approval papers. They changed it without informing me :S. I know it had to be done, or otherwise we have to have privacy shutters, but least they could have done is keep the client informed.
Do ask them for the revise drawings to see exactly how the window will look like. What they told you and what was done for me seems to differ.
