We upgraded to ones that aren't included at all and that was an extra $11k for a 31sq single story. We have chosen Bowral Brick, Brahman Granite which is a dry pressed brick. Yours would probably be less. That's very helpful. Thanks Kirst. I think we saw those dry pressed bricks, they look really nice. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 1994Jun 28, 2016 12:28 pm Hi all, can anyone let me know when I can expect to see my final colour selections document? Does it arrive with the end panel? I thought they may have sent this with the draft end panel but I only received the final price with variations. I just want to make sure everything has been specified correctly as we made a couple of changes after our appointment which was a while ago now. Cheers. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 1995Jun 28, 2016 1:08 pm Woo hoo! Just got an email that our plans have been sent to CDC today! Now for a speedy approval from them thanks! I just want the bloody end panel so we can get this over with. I know you guys all probably have felt the same, but geez I'm over it. I know I should be feeling grateful that I can even build our dream home (which of course I am) but it really can suck the life out of you some days cant it? Normally Wisdom gives 10 working days time frame for approval. Then another 4-5 weeks to get to end panel. I know the feeling exactly. Cant wait to get to the construction stage. Yeah our CSO has said 5-10 days for CDC. 4-5wks to get to end panel?!?! Oh man, I was hoping it would be way less than that. I received teh approval email on 11th and just received the wrap up email yesterday. Waiting for my draft end panel. Here is a time frame given to me via email: Please see below an outline of the process from here: · The CDC Approval will now go to our Compliance Department to assess. · Once assessment has taken place (within 5-10working days), I will then send you a “Wrap Up” email. This email will include all items I need confirmation on or need to add to the Final Variation etc. It will also include any information required from the CDC Approval. · Once we have worked through the “Wrap Up”, I will produce your “Draft End Panel”. This will be an advanced copy only and not for construction purposes, just for your approval purposes before requesting the Final Documents. We do this to avoid having to re-do the Final Documents if anything has been missed. · Once you have signed off on the “Draft End Panel”, I can request the Final Documents. The Final Documents include the below items and will take approximately 10-15working days to complete: § Progress Payment Schedule – This may remain the same as the contract schedule or it may change depending on who is paying the Variations § Variation 1 – This is basically the Draft End Panel I got you to sign however it is the formal copy. § End Panel – This is a copy of your Tender, inclusive of your Variations. § Construction Plans – This will take the longest of this process. A complete file assessment is completed and the plans and tender are check against each other to ensure they marry up. · Once the Final Documents have been completed, I will send them to you for approval. · You will provide your LACC from your Lender (or alternatively a current bank statement showing available funds). If you will be making any payments towards the Variation / Contract before the bank steps in, these will need to be made at this stage. If you are funding the construction through your own available funds, we will advise payment required in advance (as per Builder Conditions 2 & 12) when we issue the Final Documents to you. · Once you have signed and returned all documents & made any applicable payments, I will have my Manager sign off on your file and the Financial Controller will sign off on your bank approval or bank statement. · If all is approved, with no issues, your file will be submitted to Estimating and through to Construction Hope this helps Building Washington 29, Avanti Facade.
