Still hidden charges with the 'included' flooring though. Flooring protection required for potential tradie damage, DiLorenzo required a second visits to re-fit skirting, upgraded the paper-thin underlay. Included tiles are very small, to upgrade costs nothing but to lay the larger ones costs extra. Around $2500 extra needed just for flooring.
Why does it not surprise me that there are extra hidden costs when laying this stuff, just like there is with the larger tiles.
I would think that anyone considering laying this stuff would go for the larger ones, just a better look.
May I ask, how's the relatives floor holding up in their house? I'm assuming they are still happy with it.
Relatives absolutely love it. Been in their house for about 18 months now and they swear by it. 2 young kids, doesn't scratch and looks great.
We fought the flooring protection charge. Wouldn't sign the quote until Wisdom looked into it and turns out it's apparently only required for real timber floors. Saved us $600, luckily. Besides, it's their job to ensure our floor doesn't get damaged!
