Double check any costs associated with landscaping. There was a few grand difference between my figures and theirs. Does anyone know if you get the appliances installed the very next day after getting the keys? Or does it take few days? Thanks Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 635Apr 22, 2015 7:17 pm Matt1 I'll see your $608k and raise you $620k How much is this above the base price? Our base price (from last year Aug) was $395k so about $210k and we haven't had any of the consultations yet. Signing contracts this week Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 638Apr 23, 2015 6:07 pm Hi Greg_K, we had Wisdom Landscapes quote us to 10m2 and it was 1215 and another area that was 23m2 for 3100 but they are quite abit on the pricey side. We moved our rain water tanks and there was no charge (we also moved our ac and there was no charge either). We have asked a couple of times about info on the tanks as i wanted to increase the size and it was just too hard so gave up - they just kept saying the 2000 was sufficient. Carix we thought we had pretty generous provisions for kitchen & electrical but completely blew them both. Converting the pantry to a butlers pantry was a killer! Didnt even think about the A/C but at our appointment we were talked into upgrading that and it was another 6.5k - i think we have added an extra 40k on top of the contract with all of our appointments and that doesn't include the landscaping - thank goodness we have finished them Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 639Apr 23, 2015 6:15 pm Lol!! Our house have the butlers pantry as a standard luckily we have the 40mm bench tops and I just want white.... We have added the microwave tower separate too. So hope the $4k will be enough to replace most cupboards with drawers.... Not sure which cupboards I want yet.... I wanted concrete bench-tops but apparently they don't do it. But I heard some of the stone tops are similar looking.... Will have to see for myself... I am not ken in upgrading the aircon. Not a fan of it at all! We hardly use ours. I prefer ceiling fans as it keeps the mozzies away from me lol! We have lots of doors opening up downstairs and upstairs to keep cool in summer too. For winter the fireplace and underfloor heating will have to do. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 640Apr 23, 2015 6:22 pm There is a concrete look alike ceasarstone colour. It is a new colour, so the kitchen companies may or may not have it on display. We seen it at the ceasarstone showroom. Think it's called sleek concrete or something. Can someone please offer some advice? Im DESPERATE. Because I'm completely and utterly exhausted. How long are variations taking with other companies at the moment? We… 0 18816 In fairness nobody gave a crap about the ACCC and the gag clauses continued in the pro forma templates of a few other builders after the ACCC took on Wisdom, and more… 19 73869 Hi Everyone, I am exploring builder in NSW and received a very tempting quote from Wisdom home for their momentum series. I just want to know experience of building… 0 9037 |
