Even then I had to pay 3k more like you. Now I am thinking I should've done the retaining wall with them but the problem with that was they charged 3k for levelling the site which put me off. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 156Sep 11, 2014 5:13 pm Wow!! 95k for landscaping!! We are just waiting on bank approval before signing. Spent last night checking over our final contract tender/plans. Now to spend next few days going over the contract. Not fun at all Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 157Sep 11, 2014 6:29 pm Matt1 I nearly had a heart attack when I got my landscaping quote ($100k!). In the end I only got them to cut the backyard and that still cost $2k more than the $5k gift voucher! Everything else is cheaper elsewhere (and my slave labour is free). I probably have a far smaller block and no retaining walls... I've started reading Fu Manchu's thread on laying turf. viewtopic.php?f=19&t=43570 I think I preferred the way I did my last lawn. Prep involved chilling copious bottles of Chardonnay then inviting our friends over to help. The lawn wasn't very even but we had great fun doing it! Still got fond memories of it, my husband still calls it the Chardonnay lawn. Not so good is that we are still in admin waiting on all our colour variations to come through. Has anyone gone for double glazing through Wisdom? If so what did they use and are you happy with it? They have quoted quite a bit for the front of the house and I am waiting for them to get back to me with the details of what they are planning on using. Loan docs from the bank arrived in the mail as well - the stars are aligning!! Gee there's a lot to review all in one hit. Can someone please offer some advice? Im DESPERATE.
