Our slab should be going down in a few weeks so I am hoping that it will go up without to many delays Good luck with the rest of the build!! Very jealous of the planter boxes to the front what a great idea. Also the recess in your entry looks amazing - you must be so happy Re: Home Group WA - Eden Beach Jindalee Build 94Aug 25, 2015 8:40 pm Lauz Hi everyone! So we now have bricks on site but no brickies as yet. we have been told 1-2 weeks so fingers crossed! We did come across a problem last night though while going over our plan. somehow in the laundry the bench has not been carried on across the washing machine so it can sit neatly underneath and the taps have been wall mounted instead of in the cupboard! how we missed this i dont know!!!!! our plan was to wall mount our dryer above the washing machine and with the taps on the wall thats not possible and I hate the idea of the washing machine fully visible not hidden underneath the bench I emailed our contact at Home Group thinking we would be able to change it but will obviously have to pay a variation fee which is what we have done with previous builds but no we are not allowed! we cant change it! seeing as we don't have brickwork started yet I don't see why it would be such a big deal if we are willing to pay! has anyone else made changes at this stage???? really disappointed I know we missed it on the plan but in my head I assumed it was automatically like that Hey Lauz Did they end up letting you change this? I am trying to make a change to my bench top as brick work has just started and they have said no too so disappointed 4 14463 I built with EB back on 2009.
