We have a page for each room and will mark off the sheet once we've checked it. This way nothing will be forgotten. I'll then write down and take pics of anything that needs fixing so I can re check it at our handover inspection. I'm taking 3 x 100 watt light globes, a step ladder (to change them), a level, a tape measure, plugs for the basins, a hairdryer or electric razor to check the GPO's and my site shoes!! Very well organised. I've learned a lot reading your thread. Hope all go well with the handover. Nightshade, the 4 rail towel ladder was included in the Clendonvale promo when we signed our contracts. All the bathroom accessories were included, but we upgraded the bathroom towel rail to a double. Didn't think about adding a hand towel ring in the bathroom, but we can always do that later in a stud. Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ... I love my house!! Re: The Story of Stormy's Castle.**Possible handover 11th Sept** 1215Aug 29, 2009 12:55 pm CiNnY: I do feel good now I have a date to work towards, and there are 2 days 'grace' for the bank if they don't deliver the cheque on time before the flooring people start. We have allowed 10 working days, so hopefully they got the fax on Friday morning and are starting to sort it out. Tillie: Thanks, not long at all, so much to do... BP: It's scrubbed up quite well, and will receive a further clean prior to handover, so that's good to know! Not too much residue on the tiles either! Donuts: Thankyou! Erinleigh: We may well be handover twins! Your place looks fabulous! Well, things just get busier and sillier here at the moment. My FIL is now out of ICU and on a ward, but still no idea what is exactly wrong with him, so that is frustrating. It was hubby's 40th B'day yesterday, so the 2 of us went out to dinner yesterday. Upon returning to the car, we noticed that the back flap/cover in the boot was up (which it never is) and realised the car had been done over. The poor excuse of the lowlifes who did this took the ipod, the GPS (which were well hidden) and our 2 brand new unopened boxes of crockery for the new house. Great way to end your 40th Birthday NOT, and I am furious. Reported it to the police and also to Myer where they may try to take the 2 boxes of crockery back (can't take it to David Jones as it's a Myer brand). I am now on the search on ebay for 2 unopened boxes of plain white china "Vue Como". If you see any, please let me know so the Police can track it down. What a waste of $150 bucks....at least the ipod and GPS have done us well for many years. The lock on the drivers side door is completely buggered too... Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ... I love my house!! Glad to hear your FIL is out of ICU at least. Your house looks beautiful. The colours are lovely. You can go anyway you like when decorating when you have a neutral base. Sorry about your car, that must have really topped it all off for you. What buggers they are. Fingers and toes crossed for handover. Hope it all goes smoothly.
