You must be so excited! The facade is gorgeous and the staircase is awsome! Sorry to hear about the tap problem too. Thankyou Clarity! Yes, very excited! I've even started sorting through some stuff to get packing in our temp accom! Might be jumping the gun a bit, but I have to move stuff from 2 houses and a storage place, so I might as well start now curious Totally understand your eagerness to see the kitchen stormy and i cant wait either so make sure you get lots of pics I have been following your post for a long time and must say i look forward to your updates.......everything is so detailed i can picture them in my mind Your house is going to be a beautiful home ... and i love those stairs and that white sofa as well........DH doesnt agree to white but i love white couches Thankyou Curious! I have 4 sleeps to go until I'm in again! I am charging my camera batteries as I type, so I plan on getting pics of EVERYTHING!! I can tell you now, I look forward to updating this thread...means things are happening! The white (creamish!) sofas (2 of them) are for the lounge, so they wont be sat upon all the time by the kiddies with dirty hands. They have been Scotchgarded, and I have ordered arm protectors and will add throws and things too. Hope they will be OK... We received the fixing invoice today, but it's not completed yet. I don't plan on faxing it off until Friday after my site meeting. On my drive-by this morning I was very excited to see my proper front doors on!! Lovely shade of green, so I'd hate to think what the neighbours think of the colour... Building our dream home - H3nley Ascot 384 Painting done - electrical, alarm and tiling being completed!! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=17939 Re: The Story of Stormy's Castle.**FIXING STAGE COMPLETE!!!** 919Jun 26, 2009 12:18 pm I LOVE MY HOUSE!!! I'm just back from my fixing stage site meeting and flooring measure. It looks absolutely fantastic, and my SS along with his team of Tradies have done a magnificent job. There are no major issues, the plaster looks fantastic and the all the skirts and achs look great too. There are a few little gaps here and there along the skirtings, but nothing that won't be repaired prior to painting on the 3rd July (roughly). The tiler is due to begin on the 15th July, and we could be looking at handover around the end of August! There were 3 things I picked up. * The pot drawers in the kitchen are all the same size, whereas on my plans it distinctly has the top one smaller than the other two. This will be fixed. * The hallway doors into the family room swing the wrong way. They are hung as 'standard' to the Henley plans, but we specifically had them swinging the other way so we didn't have to walk around the open door to get into the kitchen. These will be fixed! * There is a downpipe on the garage next to the boundary, which is not on the plans. It is supposed to be at the other end closer to the front door. this will be fixed! That's all I could find! The rest looks fabulous! The kitchen, the stairs, the cabinets and all my beautiful 2 panel doors! Photos later! Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ... I love my house!!
