Re: DJ & Toni's Ellenbrook Build with HGWA. Timber blinds 162Sep 24, 2014 12:41 am Melsie68 Looks really good . Have you moved in yet ? Just wondering did you say you sealed your grout . It could be just the photo but your grout looks darker . My bathrooms are grouted with the same colour as my living room .ensuite sealed though so I'm thinking that's why it's darker . We have now decided that we will borrow more money (if we are able too ) don't really won't too but it's the only way the backs going to get done so their will be a patio a shed and some grass . I hate grass lol . And problem some coloured concerte . Agg to much to do at the back . No pool like in the old house . But we will save in elec bill. so that's a bonus . Toni have you decided what you are doing at the back .? Hi Melsie. We are moving in this weekend. I'm still in the process of sealing the grout. I have sealed it in the bathroom that's in the pic. It must be the picture because the grout is the same colour as before. Like you, the grout is the same colour throughout the house. Also, the sealer is a colourant that is the same colour as the grout. With regards to the back...we will be putting in a patio across the back of house with paving, then about 4 m of lawn...then behind that, a combination of sheds, vegie garden, chook pen, shade and fruit trees and kids play area. We have enlisted a landscaper help us put those ideas together. Like you, we will have to borrow more to help us pay to finish the yard. We will be putting up a car port at the side too. There is sooo much to do Let us know how you get on with your yard as you go. It's great seeing what people do Toni's thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=71645 Re: DJ & Toni's Ellenbrook Build with HGWA. Thank you Asha Toni's thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=71645 Re: DJ & Toni's Ellenbrook Build with HGWA. Timber blinds 164Sep 24, 2014 12:51 am I find my wall grout darker than my living room and it should be the same colour . In the ensuite it's darker . And I was thinking it was the sealer . But even if I mentioned it what are they going to do take the grout out . Probley do more harm . At the end of the day grout will change over time anyway . IM sure my white grout won't stay white as much as I try to keep it that way. Lol Re: DJ & Toni's Ellenbrook Build with HGWA. Timber blinds 165Sep 24, 2014 1:03 am Melsie, check out this link http://www.aquamix.com.au/products/grou ... t-colorant This is what I'm using for grout. I'm using the light grey for the floor grout, but I intend on getting the white for the wall tiles. Toni's thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=71645 Re: DJ & Toni's Ellenbrook Build with HGWA. Timber blinds 169Sep 24, 2014 1:29 am henry- Hi Tonk is the white tiles in the main areas of the house from the WA Home Group Selection or did u select it yourself. My Build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=73335 Hi Henry. The tiles are not from HGWA selection. They didn't have gloss tiles in their selection. We picked them from Crosby tiles, called riverina stone gloss. They are not completely white, they have a light grey fleck through them. Toni's thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=71645 Re: DJ & Toni's Ellenbrook Build with HGWA. Its looks so soft and inviting - great choices Re: DJ & Toni's Ellenbrook Build with HGWA. Sheers 177Oct 15, 2014 7:48 pm OK....now I'm ticked!!! Our U bute Tri lock front door lock has jammed in the open position. So we haven't been able to use/lock our front door since Monday. After a number of calls and promises.... another day has gone by with no action. I thought this might have been one of those more urgent maintenance things. But I guess not. Re: DJ & Toni's Ellenbrook Build with HGWA. Sheers 178Oct 15, 2014 8:39 pm See what I mean .I dont know what builders think is urgent . You know how the tiler is coming out to fix my grout .well he was suppose to come yesterday .but he some how didnt note it in his diary even though he emailed it to redink . He did sound sorry .but still .so now he is coming tomorrow . And get this he told redink he has no other jobs to do but he wonts to turn up here between 10 and 11 .I told him if he is not done by to im kicking him out and he can come back on friday . Does your door lock . We have had problems with our keyless entry . Since thet are quite new and not alot of builders use them .I rang the company myself and organized it . Mine are from Gainsbourg. I didnt even talk to redink about it . Re: DJ & Toni's Ellenbrook Build with HGWA. 179Oct 16, 2014 12:00 am Hi Melsie. It's annoying for sure. But the builders have a maintenance section to deal with these kinds of things...but I guess maintenance is not a priority. I don't know about keyless entry, but it sounds great!....When it's working properly. ATM we can't lock our front door. Our security doors should be installed tomorrow so the situation won't be so urgent after that. Hope your grout finally gets sorted. Toni's thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=71645 Re: DJ & Toni's Ellenbrook Build with HGWA. 180Oct 16, 2014 12:27 am I think not being able to lock a front door is urgent .it is maintenance and they are pretty slow . They seem to think everything can wait ti 6 mon check .I would keep at them . I know they cant go to every house for everything but certain things come on . Its like they have only one person for every job . Cross fingers it gets sorted . Keyless entry is good but I always check if the doors locked lol . I always tend not to get excited when things get fixed coz I just feel .tradies always make things twice as bad . I stress alot . Block of two storey townhouses requires painting on the roof.
