But on the subject of those bricks, they look like austral ash or cotton at first glance. I'm planning to build with cotton bricks. For reference, my current thinking is dulux Grand Piano half or quarter for the render, Colorbond Gully for the roof & gutters, surfmist fascia and evening haze or cove for downpipes & garage. Window frames to be white, I forget what the colour is properly called, and front door painted dulux Grand Piano full strength. I also plan to have some sandstone rocks in my front garden - it slopes down something like half a meter over the 4m setback from the footpath and the rocks (small boulders?) are in liu of terracing.
