Now, does anyone know if this Foxtel would be delivered via Telstra, or Foxtel? Or is it specific to my developer? (Not sure if this is a generic package, or developer specific). The velocity package delivering TV via fibre is standard for Telstra Velocity. Foxtel will be delivering your service over the Telstra fibre, I guess you could say its being delivered via Telstra. You'll find there are some pretty big advantages to using your data links like this - primarily when it comes to reliability. Of course, this will mean a portion of available bandwidth is dedicated to TV and cannot be used for generic data, its all a bit of a trade off and at the speeds we are talking, it's still vastly better than pretty much anything else.
