Especially after they told you it was all happening. I know It's very strange how this all happened. All was well and 'going according to plan' then suddenly oh we are delaying it by 2 months even though the blocks are ready. Such is life I guess... Re: Our first home Dunedin 29 Porter Davis - Merrifield,Vict 109Dec 02, 2014 11:11 am Hi We have a block in Merrifield also and wanted to extend the garage. We have done preliminary drawings and hoping they will accept the extension. Did they give you any grief about having the storeroom added? Thanks Re: Our first home Dunedin 29 Porter Davis - Merrifield,Vict 110Dec 02, 2014 12:39 pm stelepe Hi We have a block in Merrifield also and wanted to extend the garage. Thanks Hi Stelepe, Glad to finally hear from someone also building in Merrifield. We didn't hear of any issues regarding the extension. Having said that I haven't got any official document showing the approval from the Design Review Committee. Will let you know when I hear back. Thank you Re: Our first home Dunedin 29 Porter Davis - Merrifield,Vict 111Dec 02, 2014 7:51 pm We were very lucky to get a block with 27m frontage so we wanted to make the most of the block hence why we extended the garage with a 'studio' (really a separate kitchen for my cake business!) Once Merrifield approve then i have to go through council to get approval to work out of it I cant wait to move to Merrifield. I think its going to be very pretty up there! Wow that's a huge frontage. What size is the block?? Yea, please let me know how you go with that. Thank you. Re: Our first home Dunedin 29 Porter Davis - Merrifield,Vict 113Dec 05, 2014 1:03 pm We purchased an irregular block so its 27.2m front and only 17.5m at the back but the block is almost 800sqs. Btw i love the live aerial pics they take. I can see my block from there so its very exciting. Have you titled yet?
