Mainly cos my phone gets passed on to one of the kids when they stay in the car while we go look at the house. Kids think a phone is meant for games... Must admit I'm pretty jealous. You're near handover and I've just reached lock up even though you only started 3 weeks before me. Re: Ben Trager Homes - Banksia Grove - Locked up 405Sep 15, 2015 9:24 pm Man, you've had the unheard of BTH build ronfire! Can't believe my slab went down a week before yours and I'm still 6 maybe even 8 weeks from keys, what a joke they really can't blame SOR v NOR when I paid a loading fee to ensure trades came to my house. Sigh.... Happy for you tho, I hope it all goes well for you, and you remember your camera Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Ben Trager Homes - Banksia Grove - Locked up 406Sep 15, 2015 9:57 pm Dont worry, Im not holding my breath. This is what we were told bout 3 weeks ago that PCI 'might' be the week after this. Yet to get confirmation! They got 3 days now.... Not sure how you test the lights :/ Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Ben Trager Homes - Banksia Grove - Locked up 410Sep 15, 2015 10:21 pm What? You don't get globes in the lights??? First I knew of this. Oh well, 1 globe and 1 very tall ladder for me at PCI haha Re: Ben Trager Homes - Banksia Grove - Locked up 411Sep 15, 2015 10:29 pm Take 2 globes, 1 of each type. Screw in and bayonet. Who knows what they'll install. Lucky for us we have LED's everywhere. Re: Ben Trager Homes - Banksia Grove - Locked up 412Sep 15, 2015 10:36 pm I have mainly LEDs downstairs but not everywhere. So we have ceiling fans with lights, will they have globes do you think? And if they don't put globes in, why on earth do you get those ugly dog collar cone style shades? Re: Ben Trager Homes - Banksia Grove - Locked up 413Sep 16, 2015 9:24 am I have Trager putting in all my LED's; they better come with globes!! Re: Ben Trager Homes - Banksia Grove - Locked up 414Sep 16, 2015 10:07 am Down lights would, I believe it's just bayonet lights that don't. This was from someone with a different builder so I just assume we don't either especially now ronfire was told they won't be there at PCI Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Ben Trager Homes - Banksia Grove - Locked up 416Sep 16, 2015 10:53 am Yeah my thoughts exactly. Why would u build a house and not out in globes??! Its not like they're high end fittings either. Over half dont work. Re: Ben Trager Homes - Banksia Grove - Locked up 419Sep 16, 2015 5:30 pm Yes take a hair dryer with you to test all the gpos! Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Ben Trager Homes - Banksia Grove - Locked up 420Sep 16, 2015 6:50 pm ronfire Im not a builder but I do understand project management. If I had projects that got delayed because resource scheduling was stuffed up, I'd be pointed in the direction of the door and someone better would come in to so the job. Also, the no1 rule of customer service - underpromise and overdeliver. Neither of these concepts appear to be understood by builders.... So true yes it does, you've just not understood it. theres a difference. 4 5332 Your house should come in "as new" condition.
