Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 02, 2014 5:38 pm Hi everyone We have asked our builder to ensure that the tiled areas to wet areas are at the same level as carpeted rooms so there is no step up to the fininished tiled floors. Now that the variation has come through, they are charging $665 for each wet area for a 50mm set down. Has anyone requested this? If so, are the charges usually so high? If you install a quality underlay and carpet, doesn't the height of the carpet bring it to the same level as the tiled floors?
