Due to cost / choice considerations, we are thinking about adding overhead shelving, stone bench-tops and under-bench cabinets in both our laundry and walk in pantry, and shelving and robes in our WIR. We are going to get an empty walk in robe and walk in pantry (with added hot/cold water point & electric points) while in laundry, we'll be getting the standard tub and added electric points. I read in different threads about adding extra noggins / timber supports for post handover additions of wall mounted TV, pendant lights, ceiling fans etc., Would I be required to ask the builder to put in extra support for adding any of the above shelves/cupboards/bench-tops etc?
