That is a pretty sweet deal! I would check what air con it is though? Ours was ducted air con or $14,000 credit, Found out it was a Samsung of lesser value so we took the credit used it for prestart instead. I think I should centre the window and put another shelf on the other side? I would like to try fit another future fridge space in also. - Raise Entry to 31c (This will remove the two walls into the living area - I need a bigger Linen Cupboard. The only idea I can think of is reduce bed 2 and 3 slightly and widen the laundry to put a cupboard on the other wall. - Bulkhead to Kitchen - Swap sliding door from IT nook to in front of the Theatre Any input would be appreciated. Re: Building with Summit Homes - Chateau 25Jun 13, 2014 4:22 pm Are you dead set on having a walk in robe in your master? You would have the same storage space if it became a wall of sliding doors. Then on the back of it you could have the same length as a linen cupboard with sliding doors. Means you don't lose space and get a massive linen cupboard. If you did this i would remove linen cupboard from laundry and just have cabinets. Great plan, nice to see something a bit different from the usual! Re: Building with Summit Homes - Chateau 26Jun 13, 2014 5:06 pm QuickDraw Could you maybe move the WIP enterance to allow the fridge freezer to be hidden in there? Would you consider changing IT nook into a WIL closet? If you place your WIR doorway in the middle you can add more shelf space on both of the sides? Same as bed 4 WIR Re: Building with Summit Homes - Chateau 27Jun 13, 2014 5:09 pm I also increased the shelf/rail height in all wardrobes to 2m high and added another shelf underneath for my husband and my sons. So they now have extra hanging room for "boys clothes" Re: Building with Summit Homes - Chateau 28Jun 13, 2014 5:11 pm And we placed our dishwasher recess into the scullery/pantry because then you can reduce the noise when you have guests over. Don't forget to add a cold tap for fridge if you haven't already Re: Building with Summit Homes - Chateau 29Jun 13, 2014 8:14 pm xxkatxx Are you dead set on having a walk in robe in your master? Although I do like the Idea of a WIR it does waste space. melaqua QuickDraw Could you maybe move the WIP enterance to allow the fridge freezer to be hidden in there? Same as bed 4 WIR Do you mean put the Nib wall on the other side of the fridge? Not sure exactly what you mean I kind of like the idea of the IT nook. Means kids aren't hidden in their room on a computer. But that is another option I will consider thanks Thanks for the other ideas. I'll look into it Re: Building with Summit Homes - Chateau 30Jun 14, 2014 11:07 am Nice plan, it's great to see something different. I'd definitely go for more shelving in the WIP and the shrinking of the bedrooms to allow for another linen cupboard. You can never have enough storage space Building a Sierra on the Gold Coast https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68899 Full timeline on Pg 1 Settlement: 13/05/14 Retaining Walls: 20/06/14 Site Start: 02/07/14 Re: Building with Summit Homes - Chateau 31Aug 12, 2014 9:44 am glory_gal84 and quickdraw - how's everything going?
