What kind of gas heating were you using in the old house, which cost you so much money? Are you independent electrician or working for a company? We will be looking for sparky at some points. Re: My new house ,The Glades 64Oct 17, 2014 8:06 pm House is looking good coming up fast. I really like your tiles particularly the your main bathroom - the large tile at the back of the picture that looks like lots of shells (bad description...) - do you remember where you chose this? More delay for us. i don't think we will get to prestart and submit for finance approval even before Christmas. I could only hope that the build progress goes faster than the admin process. Hope so, thou I heard on the news last night that there will be big delays up to 6mths on bricklayers next year. So hoping that doesn't affect you Re: My new house ,The Glades 75Nov 27, 2014 10:56 pm 6 months???!! OK, we should seriously think about walking out at this stage. 2 months since the land title and still no progress on the paper work. As I mentioned, all of these could have been done while we are waiting for the title. And the cost of buidling this house is more than the established houses in the area after adding extra council requirements. This is even before pre-start etc. The housing market is not doing very well at the moment so can be a better off to just buy an established house........by the time this house is built, i am not even sure that we get to enjoy living it in before moving due to job. So what's the date for PCI on your side? Timeline: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76782 Re: My new house ,The Glades 76Nov 27, 2014 11:42 pm I'm just going off the news report. It's the same with my build. But you will get there. PCI should be next Friday. Will ring him tomorrow Re: My new house ,The Glades 77Nov 28, 2014 12:21 am Yeah for the PCI date! So did you get the inspector to come again before PCI? Timeline: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76782 Yes well there solution is to blame everyone else while I a 65yr old woman with major medical problems have to just continue to boil water and wash myself in a bucket… 2 16013 If you make sure all taps inside and out are turned off, what does the water meter show if you leave it for a while. 2 20235 13 6632 |
