Went down Saturday and the builders had accidentally left it open so we were able to walk through The bench tops had been installed and prep work had also begun on painting. I cannot wait to see the outside painted. Hopefully by the end of this week the painting will be done. :-D Modified Miami 31- Brighton Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=91265&f=31&p=1789112#p1789112 Re: Regatta 2920 (Planbuild -Brisbane). Kitchen sink & bench 87Jul 16, 2014 5:51 pm cinquain So excited, just had a chat to the site supervisor. Looking at two weeks until Practical completion Excellent news!!!!!!! Our timeline is pretty much identical now I hope you've started packing! Took a drive by the house this afternoon and painting is well underway. It makes everything look so much bigger. We also had our bench top legs installed. We are very happy so far with the way things are going, only found a couple of things so far to bring up at PCI. One of them is the front door,it seems to be warped a little as it doesn't close properly. The other issue we've found (although not sure if it's an issue or normal) is that in a corner of the brickwork, where the garage juts out, there seems to be mortar missing, the entire length of the corner (hope this description makes sense lol). The gap is about 2-3cm wide and I only noticed it because the sun was shining right in that area and I could see the blue wrap. We'll bring it up with our SS and see what he says. It's so exciting that things are almost complete although I've found it's getting harder and harder to wait lol. I just want to move in now! Love the front door colour I hope it's an easy fix. When we went through on Friday they put on the paperwork it would all be completed by this Friday 25/7. Promised us the final invoice last Friday but didn't get it till I made a few angry calls this morning (my husband works away so timeline with us is strict) so still unsure as to when the handover date will be. Bank has told us they need up to 10 days to process. It was mainly painting and a few cracking issues. Ss had smashed our hot plates trying to install the range hood, so both of them need replacing. One wardrobe door wasn't sitting correctly, and we had no mirrors in bathrooms. We were quite surprised and expected more to be wrong. I will get around to updating my post about our time frame when I get a chance last Thursday (day before inspection) was 10 weeks since slab . Hopefully your bank doesn't take the whole 10 days (our initial valuation after slab was poured, we were told it would take 10 days and it only took 2 ) and you'll be in soon. We had a little hiccup today, dropped all the appliances off to be fitted at 7am. Got an email from PB at 330 saying that the dimensions they'd taken for the range hood off the Bosch website were wrong and that the cabinetry above range hood was made for a right had side ventilation shaft (as per the user manual on their website) however the actual range hood has the ventilation shaft on the left hand side. This means we have to either replace the range hood or replace the cupboards Bosch are looking into it at the moment but we've been told it will 'take some time.' Hopefully it won't hold everything up and it can just be sorted after handover. :-D Modified Miami 31- Brighton Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=91265&f=31&p=1789112#p1789112 Hello Josh, This is Irving from PRIMA, we are a manufacturer of the staircase, railings, kitchen cabinets, windows, doors from China.
